Themandyou
Some of us aren't rich enough to afford a d chain, so we need the next best thing. I've got full dragon no chain, a whip, and don't know what to wear for plate armour. Any ideas?
Elessar3019
You could try a granite plate. Or Torag's plate, if you're doing heavy fighting. And there's always the rune plate.... perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN!
Themandyou
I've tried rune and granite, granite is way too buff and rune is too whimpy. Torag seems like a good idea. What would look good, even if def is bad?
Zack_K10
O Dharoks plate looks very well and best plate in the game i suggest that it makes it looks good but u may not like idk try it out ;)
Piman
dharok, torag, guthan plates all have the same defense If barrows is too expensive, I might suggest getting the Fighter Torso. You get this by playing lots of the Barbarian Assault minigame. It will probably take you at least a few days on world 6 to get, but it is better than a rune plate, and it gives a +4 strength bonus :)
Icingdeath
I'd sell your dragon and buy full Torags. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

Themandyou
IT seems like barrows and fighter orso are my two choices. I've had all the barrows melee sets, never really liked not selling the stuff on the spot, but somebody can get it if you die. I started barbarian assualt. Is it easier to get to level 3, then go for the 375 points for each skill, or get lvl 2, then 375 points, or llv 1 and 375 points?
marnuke
Some of us aren't rich enough to afford a d chain, so we need the next best thing. barrows armor is better than all dragon armor, besides square for obvious reasons. Barrows drops: ahrims staff (2), karils coif, karils xbow, torags plate body, veracs helm.
meb
I say go for the fighter torso; with a decent combat lvl it's not hard to find a good team in w6. Don't bother lvling your roles, it's not really necessary. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
