Okay, looking at some youtube vids, I saw decided to use the following set up for barrows, from top down:

 

 

 

Helm:Farseers

 

Quiver:200 haralander tar

 

Amulet:Glory

 

Cape:Sara God Cape

 

Weapon:Black Salamander

 

Body:spiltbark body

 

Legs:Blue mystic bottom

 

Gloves:Splitbark greeves

 

Ring:RoL

 

Boots:Rune boots

 

 

 

Would you suggest this outfit along with spade, teletab to Varrock, Blk d'hide body, blk legs, 6 4-dose pray pots, and the rest monkfish with 3 spaces empty. I will switch to the d'hide when killing Ahrim with the range option and Karil with the melee option. Also the stats I will have when I start this I will be 84 mage*, 70 range*, and 85cb.

 

 

 

Do you think this outfit and idea possible?

i have no idea.. it would probably work. never done a barrows run but read plenty of guides. you could try to see if it works.

Umm.. you could try, But I would recommend the other way, slayer dart (best way) or Fire blast. But if that does work, Nice

its not good.. blk sally is really unstable.. one time you will hit really hard then later you hit lousy.. i tried..

But using this way, you don't need to bring any other weapons, so more space for food and p pots.

Well i bring a black salamander. I only use it for ahrim though, and occasionally karil, it much easier and cheaper to use slayer dart on the rest though.

But since I can swamp tar and harralander quite easily it might be actually be cheaper.

runes for mage dart are a very common drop from the chest, in my case i end with more runes than i started, so i never bother to get more runes, thats faster than getting harra and tar.

 

 

 

a sally is short ranged, mage dart is long range... thought of safespotting for barrows with no ppots? i can do that! throw that salamander away!

if you have really good mage stats, then you prolly could do it pretty well with black, but i tried, and it didn't go too well for me. i would say slayer dart... even thou i cant use yet :XD:

That's the problem, I just don't get 55 slayer the day get mems, and you don't need any other weps just change attack styles. Simple.

I use the black sally al the time. I can hit 20s several times with it. I whare b dhide when praying vs. Dharok and Karil. Rest of the time I have full guthans and black sally on other bros. I even use black sally on ahrim set on range. Rest of the bothers it is set on mage. I can get about 600 tar from the boat to Moonclan Island per hour. Most of the harralanders I get from my kingdom or from monster drops. Lot of times people dont boether picking up harralander and below herb drops.

Black salamander exclusively for me at barrows, switching attack styles as needed.
