I did my first day of merchanting yesterday and made 80k+

 

I sold rune scimmy for 35k, bought one for 25k and sold for 30k, Bought full rune for 170k and sold for 180k. As well as other things... I think its pretty fun. I'm not quite sure what I should merchant that would make around 100k + a RS session. My goal is enough for god armour.

 

 

 

Mining iron, coal etc feels very tedious, but if it is better I will have to do it :(. Fighting monsters is fun, but 5k - 7k a mossy giant run is sufficiant enough, I don't think.

 

 

 

My stats are:

 

attack - 46

 

strength - 55

 

defence - 43

 

health - 49

 

range - 40

 

magic - 40

 

rune crafting - 9

 

mining - 54

 

smithing - 38

 

cooking - 44

 

fishing - 45

1. Don't buy in w1, only sell (unless you are 100% sure you can sell higher)

 

2. NEVER sell for less than you bought!

 

3. F2P has a really limited item stock so switch to P2P

 

4. It's better to have a few people that always buy for a bit more, than rely on occasional buyers that buy for much more.

i dont really merch in f2p anymore because so many scammersa.. tried to buy guthix pl8 and someguy switch to rune i reported him.. end of story andyways if u do.. buy waters and earths from bettys rune shop till 12 ea and sell 20-25 ea. bronze arrows are good too

but if u have 30 wc, go to draynor, and cut willows, whenever u see some1 selling 20 each buy them, then when u get a few thousand, the once u cut and bought combined, sell them all 30 ea, its merchanting and u can raise ur wc

Uh, I started getting bbones, in about 3.2 hours i've gotten 450 bbones.

 

They sell upto 500 each, right?

yes but thats a very terrible way of merchanting on f2p. and your stats dont have anything to do with merchanting i could merch on a lvl 3. only good things to merch on f2p are treasure trail armory or rares and it doesnt sound like ur ready for that

if you have a friend that is a member then buy stuff from them and sell on the free world!

1. Keep buying multiple sets of full rune for 170k and sell them for 180k. Once you get like a lot of sets take a pic and put it in your sig :D .

 

But seriously keep doing that and you'll get that reward!

 

2. Pking on a pure Account is always cool just get him to 40 attack and 60+ strength

 

3. God Armour is a waste!!! Its basically a decorated full rune. Your better off with regular rune sets. Or spend your money on Runes Or Arrows.

 

4. Do Number one but with Trimmed armour ( finding out the price range is needed because i dont know it)

Okay, after a few days break... a loss of 300k :wall: I sold 1k raw lobsters for 240k. I now have 1145k! :D

 

What should I do now to further my money?

with the cyan colour step (step 1) try sell full rune 190k

There is more people selling full runes for 180k than people buying them.

 

And if they do buy, they complain about how noobish my price is. :wall:

 

 

 

Im looking for something which can get atleast a 10-15k profit.

you could try yews but they are kinda hard 2 sell

merchanting maples is pretty good (yes their f2p, but f2p cannot cut them) simply buy on forums for say...75-85ea and then sell ingame (world 1) for like 135ea. I did that once and it was pretty good

Buy eyes of newt for 3 each,

 

And there are a couple people buying them for 150 each in the Herblore section of Tip.it
