Micha499ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Guide to Killing Tzhaar Monsters Easily

 

 

 

 

 

 

Introduction:

 

 

 

Tzhaar monsters can drop very valuable items, such as the Obsidian Shield (350K gp) and the Obsidian Cape (250K gp).

 

These monsters are level 100+ combat, and they hit up to 16 on you, however you can use your Halberd, Bow or Magic Spells to kill them without getting hurt.

 

 

 

Getting there:

 

 

 

First of all, you need to be a member, and logged on onto a MemberÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s server.

 

Now get to Karamja, climb in the volcano to the west, and enter the nearby Cave Entrance. You are now in the Tzhaar City!

 

 

 

 

The entrance is North-East, it's a red horizontal line.

 

 

 

What you need:

 

 

 

-Some good armour (Take Magic, Ranging or Melee armour depending on how you will fight)

 

-A bow or staff if you will Range or Mage them

 

-A Rune or Dragon Halberd if you will Melee them

 

-Runes or Arrows if you will Range or Mage them

 

-Food (So if you get hit you can heal yourself)

 

-Fast teleportation (Ectophial, Elf Crystal)

 

-A Ring of Life or a Ring of Wealth for better drops

 

 

 

Getting Started

 

 

Mages and Rangers:

 

 

 

Stand behind one of the Gold Rocks (Green circle on the map) and just start attacking your enemy, stay behind the rocks, so they wont attack you)

 

 

 

Melee (Halberd)

 

 

 

Option 1:Attack an enemy, RUN to behind the rocks, and ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâHallyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ him (Halberds can hit an enemy from 2

 

squares away, across rocks!)

 

Now just keep fighting till he dies.

 

Option 2: Stand behind a rock, and equip any bow and any arrows. Now shoot your opponent.

 

If you run away from your cover (Because the enemy is to far away for your bow), run back behind it.

 

Now attack him with your Halberd.

 

 

 

Melee (Close combat)

 

 

 

This is not recommended, as they can hit up to 16. Take good food, good armour and good weapons (Rune and better)

 

 

 

 

 

The monsters:

 

 

 

TzHaar-Hur (Level 74):

 

 

 

These are not dangerous, however they will call Level 149 and Level 133 Guards to help them defeat you! (These cannot be ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâHallyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢edÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ because they donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t come near the Hally spot)

 

These drop pots, knifes and other junk, however a very rare drop of them is an Uncut Onyx, which sells for millions.

 

 

 

 

TzHaar-Mej (Level 103):

 

 

 

These monsters will use powerful Magic attacks, Dragonhide is recommended, and Protect from Magic prayer too. (These cannot be ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâHallyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢edÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ because they donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t come near the Hally spot) These rarely drop Obsidian Staffs (Worth 250K gp)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TzHaar-Xil (Level 133):

 

 

 

These are quit dangerous, there are both Warriors and Rangers. I do not recommend to attack the Ranger Versions (Wielding some kind of rings), as these will still hit you will you Hally them. They sometimes drop Obsidian Swords (40-55K gp)

 

 

 

 

 

 

TzHaar-Ket (Level 149)

 

 

 

These are the strongest Tzhaar monsters in the city, they can hit up to 16!

 

They sometimes drop an Obsidian Shield (Worth 350K gp) and Obsidian Capes (Worth 250K gp)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other tips:

 

 

 

-You can increase the chanche of getting one of the Obsidian items with a Ring of Wealth!

 

 

 

-Don't attack Level 133 with Rings in their hands, they will range you!

 

 

 

-This is a multi-combat area, sereval people can attack one monster. Try to go to a world where there aren't many people in the city.

That was just a rumor, and isint true. Jagax confirmed this a while back that they drop gems, but not onyx

Pretty bad guide. I know of at least one other safespot, and you didn't name it.

there's another safe spot at the sword shop behind the crate...hard to find but you can use the crate in different ways
