LeonardMart Posted April 11, 2007 Share Posted April 11, 2007 I checked out the text issues and found out that we all were wrong and right in terms of shading! look: For in-game chat (yellow messages above the peoples heads) have 1 pixel below shadow and not to the right. All the other types of text that have the shadow have 1 pixel below and 1 pixel to the right. and found out that text has different shades of a same color (zoom in a yellow text and you will see!) and for elliotrtd i made a comparation of the text in his newest fake with the same text with *almost* the correct colors (its missing the different shades of yellow and white) elliottrd's fake *almost* correct version Click my main sig to see my fakes :D Proud to be Mexican, yay! LeonardMart Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 love the 4th! but i have always something to criticise muahaha! tha top left text is weird, not very clean, always use original text fom the game as a guideline because this one looks strange and i know you can do it better, i have faith in you! and not sure but it seems like you put a shade to the right of the overhead text... i think i caused too much confusion about that but this are my statements: overhead text has 1 pixel shade below and none to the right all other shaded texts (to be confirmed) have 1 pixel below and 1 to the right and the yellow is a bit bright...? did you copy it from the actual game? eggs are normally not stackable but i will forgive you beacuse theyre missiles in this case so i think theyre valid as stackable now :wink: and i see you in the crowd hahaha (just a comment!) is it the guy with mystic and d legs and d axe? elliotrtd Posted April 17, 2007 Author Share Posted April 17, 2007 thanks = D and as usual....... it was something i was trying out, partly from game i used a kind of 1 pixel darker line round some edges of it ( only top corner) ermmmm ill check my text and if need be redo and chnge that :P all yes i know yellow is bright but i forgot how to get colour pallet thingy ( using paint) and yeaaah nuh the eggs are missiles in this case so im allowed !
