its ok i think, only my first attempt

 

 

 

something a bit better =]

 

 

i like this one alot ( yess jimmie330 is a rs player, he's my friend and let me use name, also featured in picture :P)

 

 

 

well this one i've tried to take in everything thats been said =]

 

and well i think its ok , will be my second fotw entry

 

 

 

 

this is my 4th bit of an easter theme with the chicken and eggs

 

 

 

 

well here's a 5th fake now =]

 

the instruments are not perfect colour wise it hard to get the right balance - and mitsubishi i praise your moby queen tail after trying these

 

also the overhead text was said in game and screen shotted, also the corner has exact colours used iin game

 

 

lets hope this comes true

 

 

 

 

well aftter successfulyl winning FOTW I made another for this weeks theme ^_^

he he thanks to replying to my thread, thought i should reply to yours, good fake, probably not the most original idea, but a well executed fake none the less, i can't really see any flaws, i suppose the only minor one is the ripples don't seem to be at the same angle as the person, still great for a first :thumbsup:

its not that bad for a first, aside from those ripples that tomdavies already pointed at, id personally prefer to move the camera so the black bakground doesnt appear, it looks bad. and i thought water had a different texture in runescape did you take the screen in low detiail...?

yeah the ripples i found kinda hard, and annoying but they're OK i believe.

 

yes i did this in low detail, i did mean to do it in high though.

 

 

 

also one thing i noticed myself is no shadow on the water so nobody mention that.

 

i didnt think it would look so good with just the water and no black background personaly, but hey you're the on rating it :P

Good Idea...

 

Two things.

 

 

 

[1] The text in the game is wrong.. It's 1 pixel of black beneath it.. Not to the side also.

 

[2] Your character and the banker are at a different angle than the ground.

Looks savvy but in the second one you can't see the other people's words in the chatbox... or whatever its called, that thing at the bottom doesn't have what the people have over their heads in it

oops, i did believe that it was also to the side but its not very noticable and doesnt ruin the picture

 

also yes the are different angles to the ground i couldnt get a screenie of everything at the right angle - i kinda rushed the second one =]

a very common mistake. text does have a 1 pixel shadow below and 1 pixel to the right.

 

the "hold hostage banker" option features another common mistake, and that is that the white "click here" text is not actually white! take a screen when you have that "white" text and you will see that its more blu-ish. copy that color then...

 

 

 

and pink pointed out that the chatbox doesnt feature all the phrases, but thats because there are more messages in the screen than the chatbox can show (only 5 at a time) so the box is actually right

to the seocnd perosn who posted i thought that would come up and planned it before posting

all is done before text vanishes therefore seeming like its not in the chatbox, although yes i should edit the scroll bar on it to show prrevious text has been said

i like them. you seem to be good at this for the 1st 2 attempts. im glad they are original ideas. the ripple effects are awesome too.

Nope. Unless it's changed, no, it's not. I just checked with a few actual screenshots I took. It's only one down. MAYBE, due to the shift of the game screen in Jagex's attempt to fool autoers, it will change from time to time, but for the most part, I recommend taking a screenshot in a crowded bank, and take a look for yourself.

 

About your fakes...

 

1st...The angle looks off... :-k

 

2nd...The text in the top left corner is something that is extremely hard to do. When I attempted it for my first time, I had to do it many times before I did it correctly. I can't tell with just my eyes, but if anyone else finds anything wrong with it, once again, take a screenshot with a message in the top left (I recommend "Bank Banker" or something) and make sure it's in the same spot, same shadow, same color.

 

Otherwise, very good for your first two.

Nice job for first attempt!

 

 

 

1. The jesus one was funny. 7.5/10

 

2. The bank one didn't look like it matched with the camera angel. 6/10.

the things i find hardest i suppose is getting the angles to match ( i know rather simple to correct but sometimes i rush) also positioning text and people to get right heights and posistions.

yep that was easy enough to figure out, unfortunetely i had the background lagged and logged out for this particular fake.
