In My personal opinion resident evil 4 is the best game around i mean the aiming system,story line and new controls make it better than any other residetn evil game or any other game out

I actually thought Resident Evil 4 was trash, which is odd since I liked all of the others that I have played. I'm not really sure what it was, it just wasn't good. :uhh:

Resident Evil 4 isn't the best game ever, but it was pretty damn good.

 

 

 

Resident Evil 5? Barely know anything about it.

Theres pretty much nothing on Resident Evil 5 except for very few screen shots (might be CGI or concepts) and its for Xbox 360 and PS3 only.

i think Resident Evil umbrella chronicles will be better than RE5, here's why

 

1.two game modes, arcade and the story mode=lots of extra fun, and the opportunity to have online that isn't co-op (which to be honest is the only online i could imagine RE5 having) of course it may not have online....which would be bad = (

 

2. even though lots of rumours suggest it being on rails, just because Capcom said it would have first person section, i don't think it will, and the first person make for a more arcadey feel rather than RE5's "hardcore" style of gameplay (no details for RE5 but it's on 360 you just know they are gonna try and make it like Gears)

 

3. Zombies!!! Umbrella Chronicles has Zombies but with the ability to aim at them!! woo, if there was one thing Re4 was missing it was zombies. RE5 looks like it has running zombies.....i hate films with running zombies, so ill probably hate games with them

 

4. Environments, UC will have proper scary environments, like the umbrella labs (scary stuff smashing through glass=shocks) rather than the desert....how will that be scary? maybe a few jumps but i doubt anything like the classic RE games

 

5. shocks! as mentioned above i don't see how RE5 will have many shocks in a desert....yes it'll get your heart pounding because of the running zombies but it won't have any big scares like UC will.....

 

so theres 5 reasons why i think UC may be better than RE5, overall the critics will probably love 5 because it's got graphics (talking of graphics UC's are looking great even on the first trailer) and it's a new style of gameplay, but UC will rock

Storyline? What the heck? What game were you playing? Resident Evil 4 had the poorest storyline of all the games in the RE saga. That's partly why in my view it sucked as a Resident Evil game. It wasn't at all scary and the 'puzzles' were poor and could be solved in under 10 seconds, easily.

 

 

 

Don't get me wrong, I still loved the game but I don't think it was a Resident Evil game at all.

 

 

 

 

 

On the topic of RE5, Capcom Day is on April 12th which hopefully will yield some info on RE5. Anything will do for me.

Storyline set up perfectly for a sequel....it may not have solved much but it was still great, did you complete Operation Ada? then you'll know what i'm on about....tied up perfectly for a sequel, RE5

So because a game sets itself up perfectly for a sequel means it has a good storyline?

 

 

 

They'll want to improve dramatically on the storyline to RE5 (if RE5 is even a sequel to RE4) if they want the old RE fans back on board and loving the REs.

Well, reguardless if they come out with Resident Evil 5 or not, here is my advice on both games.

 

 

 

 

 

If your going to bed, make sure you hide the game or no one else is playing it.

 

 

 

Otherwise you will have great dreams, only to find out, that the innocent bystanders of fish in the sea, and their city, will be under attack by killer jelly fishs and other sea creatures.

 

 

 

A massive amount of destruction occurs with fish eating fish and your running/swimming for your life, jumping on fish sea buildings to escape!

 

 

 

Yeah, thats basically what happened when I woke up and my brother was playing Resident evil 4. Apparently the sounds of the game effect your dreams during sleep :P
