what will be faster?

 

I have 5millGP to spend on it. Should I do cannon or the 100k Iron knives? Which will be faster/better/etc etc.

I'd say cannon, even though I've had no experience with a cannon

that's pretty much how I feel about it too though so yeah.

cannon would be faster, but you would get more experience from all the knives, even if you dont pick them up.

3mill will get me 77 range.

Knives are definitely Faster, and the give more xp..

last thing, do i throw knives faster, do they do more damage? would a zamorak book add to my max damage or make me hit higher more often?

Knives do less damage and are slower. Zammy book increases accuracy, not damage. You should get a cannon and get good slayer experience too, although youll get less ranged exp.

I train with iron knives, and it goes pretty fast. I have a canon too, but I don't use it all that often. Knives can do some good damage too with a decent ranged level and equipment.

unless u want this particular lvl desperately i suggest you use cannon..

 

cannon is fast xp but expensive.. depends on where u train though

You asked us to compare them to the cannon not iron arrows. It's like asking us to compare a whip to a bronze dagger. Cannons are hands down higher damage, and will probably get you exp faster. If you want the most damage and exp for your gold then go with knives, if you want to blow it all on a cannon for a mediocre level then do that.

 

 

 

Comparing them to iron arrows is more even. Knives are less accurate due to no bow raising ranged, but they're faster. I've used iron arrows before, and I like knives better.

He right, Im wasnt talking about iron arrows. A cannon will get you faster exp/hour and is awesome for slayer, but knives will give you more exp/gp.

well i have 8mill so money isn't TOO much of an issue, how much money do you think i'd have to spend to get to 70 range, after that i'll P/C or lvl on fire giants.

I wouldn't know since you didnt post your rsn and I cant look up your stats.

Sorry I'm 50 range. all the rest is 1. I figure i'll be a pure till i feel a pure can't be better, if i'm not owning i'll get def/pray.
