April 11, 200719 yr I just got level 99 fletching on RuneScape 2. I know that level 99 fletching is getting old, seeing that around 13,000 players have it now, and that it's so much easier to level on RS2 than RuneScape Classic. However, I'm still proud that this is my fourth level 99 stat on RS2! I wasn't planning on getting the cape, seeing that it's so common, but my friends forced me to! Anyways, I'd like to thank everyone who sold me supplies and all my friends who have encouraged me. There's way too many to name, but you know who you are! :) I'll probably work on combat, slayer, farming, and hunter. I might also go for level 70 smithing and level 99 woodcutting after my membership expires. If that's the case, I guess that I'll be the next Uular, LOL. Screenshot: My friend Sarah Devil0 (level 99 fletcher and woodcutter) made a video, which is available here. Anyways, for those of you aspiring fletchers who are hoping to get level 99 some day, here are some tips for you: 1. Fletch bronze arrows and normal/oak bows until level 40. From then on, make unstrung willow longbows until level 70. Willow logs are often cheaply available in general stores, especially on free servers. When you reach level 70, craft yew longbows until 99. You should not string anything lower than yew longbows. 2. If you want to save time, it doesn't hurt to buy supplies. Yew logs can be bought for 300-330 GP each, and bow strings are around 200 GP each. Completed yew longbows can often be sold as high as 600 GP each, resulting in a profit of at least 70 GP per each bow. 3. Knowing how to arrange your inventory can save you a considerable amount of time. It doesn't take a lot of time to move your cursor across your inventory, but when it comes to stringing 80,000 yew longbows, it all adds up. When you string bows, the game uses up supplies from the top of your inventory. Your inventory should consist of the following items in the exact order: any amount of coins, 13 bow strings, 13 unstrung bows, and one bow string. You can now fletch by keep clicking the bottom bow string and the unstrung bow to the left without moving your mouse much at all. When you're done, you should have 13 spaces. Withdraw 13 more unstrung bows (by clicking "all"), deposit the strung bows, and withdraw 13 bow strings in the same manner. You won't have to spend time typing "13" each time. 4. Lastly, do not give up on your goal. The experience needed for level 99 may be daunting, but as long as you maintain patience and perseverance, you will eventually reach your goal. April 12, 200719 yr Nice one :) 99 is always a 99, no matter does 130,000 have it or 13. I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm
