My current internet is wireless high-speed and can upload at 384kbps. However, it has it's fast days and slow days. I was looking for something more along these lines:

I'm looking for reliable, good speed around a DSL or cable.

Also, my budget is around $50.00 a month.

Over 600kbs speed.

anyone have certain references?

thanks for the help.

If you have another ISP in the area, I suggest checking their prices. That package is a rip off for those speeds. I currently have 8000 down 512 up for that same price. I'd also suggest trying to find a land line instead of any kind of wireless provider for better stability and more than likely a lower price.

If you're up for paying $45 a month, the RoadRunner package would be the best choice unless you can find another provider to compare to. Faster than the wireless provider for the same price is always a good thing.

First of all this only relates to DSL and Cable and Broadband, and if your wondering why i listed broadband its because its different compared to those trust me...

You are not giving much detail, like who's providing it like bresnan, quest, idk theres so many well anywhoo, restart your modem try that for like 10 mins just turn it off, or actually there should be a reset button on there ,

  • First reset it , you usually need like a pen or something with a skinny point

Then Turn it off for 10+ mins (use the switch to turn it off, dont turn off its power supply, meaning use the switch on the modem to turn it off)

Then turn it back on, and walla you should be ok, remebr delete cookies and disk clean up your computer every couple of days to a week too be at top performance..

Thanks for listening

well that roadrunner package is better, but you should be able to find one providing 50+ mbps for that price.

50mbs for $45? Are you crazy? $40-$45 for 6-8mbs is the average price around here in the states.
