Well, I was just fiddling around with re-creating some sketches I did in class, and it started to look like a head on a tree, so I worked on it some more, and I got the general idea down right now..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I still have to:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Detail the earth, and fix the wobbly shape..

 

 

 

- Add some more stuff to space

 

 

 

- Add some more details to the face/hair/headphones

 

 

 

- Add some more objects that indedicate(sp?) the 'youth' feeling in it..

It is supposed to transfer the thought: "The youth of the world is dominating, and will the culture will grow even bigger in the near future" and "The young people on this earth are at the top of the tree of life", Hence, the tree/head thing..

Yeah if you fix those things in the wallpaper it'll be even better then it is now. I really like it due to the fact it's true. The youth cultures voice is getting louder and louder by the day and will eventually be heard. Keep going with it... If I dare say a McDonalds line "I'm lovin it!"

Im currently thinking of modern days 'icons' to use in it..

Stuff that are rather populair in these days, well known products, populair activities, stuff like that..

such as music, movies, the mall things of that sort would work

The concept is excellent, but the piece lacks a wow factor. The headphones are funky though.

what program(s) do you use to get such smooth lines? or did you set the ppi (pixels per inch) really high? great job and it's turning out very very nice. i like how a select few on this forum are givin the ability to think outside of the box and look more into the world's issues and social stature. great job and this was a pheonominal way to portray the youth uprising. demented for president! :D :P
