Bloodstain Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 I really can't believe i havent found a topic about it, i just saw it and for me it was EASILY the best movie of 07 so far. This movie was definetly better than Shaun of the Dead. It started a little slow but it was amazing, especially all the action at the end...if you haven't seen it yet you need to go see it now :mrgreen: For those of you who don't know what it is about, its from the same people who brought you Shaun of the Dead, and it is about a top notch cop whos fellow officers get him transfered to a small town because he is making them look bad. Shortly after he arrives a series of murders occur and he has to solve it in a city of...idiots. :anxious: It basically pokes fun at a lot of action movies, and it is funny as heck! indy500fan Posted April 22, 2007 Share Posted April 22, 2007 I actually liked Shaun of the Dead better (wrote a little about this in the what movies did you last see topic), but I still really enjoyed this one. The first 2/3 or so was just all setup for the last 1/3 of the movie, not much really went on during that time. The 2/3 was OK, but nothing special. No doubt, it's funny, hilarious at times, but I couldn't help but feel I'd seen it all before. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Might be good, but doesn't look as interesting to me as Hot Fuzz or SotD looked. Also I found out Edgar Wright did the spoof trailer "Don't" in Grindhouse :P . I enjoyed Shaun of the Dead and I think this is even better. But yeah the last ~40 mins was the best I've seen in a movie in a very very long time.
