    Twilight.

I put Twilight into the same categories of other current lame items of interest that are the downfall of society. It generally goes by age group: Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus 7-12ish High School Musical 10-15ish Twilight 15-early college
  4. That would've been more political suicide than choosing Palin.

Good thing he won't be getting my vote. I'm throwing mine away.

Well it's fantastic to hear you have a very closed-minded perception on the topic. I don't know how you don't support lower taxes, pulling out of a war, giving women more rights, ect, but that's fine. Pulling out of the war is not a liberal mind set, moderates, like myself, and many conservatives support it also. Liberals lower taxes? Thats news to me. You're doing the whole party line thing which you mentioned earlier. You're also twisting words and opinions. You are allowed to believe in what you want as am I. But this has gotton too far off topic, seeing as the title Sarah Palin. If Mccain does get elected at least we'll have something good to look at. Edit: Look up sarcasm while you're at it. And, yes, I do think every politician is neither genuine or caring. The closest one that I believe could actually change America, for the good, would be Ron Paul.

I don't support his ideas, his policies, pretty much anything he does. The same goes with any other liberal, that's why I never vote liberally and probably never will.

Obama is a superstar celebrity in every way possible. Look how he is taken in here in the US, everyone loves him, he is our 'Messiah'. He goes overseas, everyone loves him, hes the second coming of Jesus. Its really disgusting. Now have Mccain go overseas, lets see how he is treated. HAH! He is "taken" the way you described because he is a very relatible, honest, caring, and genuine person who cares about the middle class. That's disgusting to you? I call that amazing. How does being loved make you a celebrity? I don't get it. All I'm getting out of this is you think that being liked by a lot of people makes you a "celebrity". McCain goes overseas and is treated the way he is because his policies are horrible, he does not care about the middle class, and he has no idea how to lead. You just used words that should never be in the same sentence with any politician; honest, caring, genuine. This is why I'm voting for a 3rd party this year, I'm a Libertarian, but previous voting years I tried to make vote count, this year I'll really vote for who I prefer. And it won't be the the Messiah. Well have fun tossing your vote out a window. You have given no other reason to not vote for Obama other than the fact that he's liked worldwide. Hey, I guess if that's what sways you, I wouldn't want your vote. Its 1 less vote Jesus. I'd rather throw my vote away than vote for a false prophet. And I said that I'm Libertarian, that would be the reason I'm not voting for him.

The only thing she has been in charge of is Alaska.... Yeah, certainly a lot of experience there :? . Yeah I don't think McCain could have chosen a worse running mate. What is even worse is that, if he wins, there is a decent chance (with how old he is) that she could very well become a president. It's just a scary thought. And Obama has been in charge of what? And I wouldn't count on Mccain croaking any time soon, the same issue came up with Bob Dole and hes still alive and kicking. I personally love the pick, its a lot of fun to watch this all go down. Even though I'm still probably going to vote Libertarian, its quite entertaining, like a sports game.

She has more executive experience than Obama and Biden combined. What, Barry has been a senator for 150 days? Did you expect him to pick anyone that wasn't Pro-Life? Any such pick would've sent the RNC into an uproar.
  15. A simple Google search with "sarah palin VP" will suffice, many of the discussions date back to Winter-Spring of her being a possible choice for VP.
  16. Shes been in discussion as a possible VP since March. Republicans can no longer bring in the 'inexperience card' with this choice, but Obama dare not do that either. Palin technically has more executive experience than Obama and Biden combined. Democrats can say Mccain chose Palin for her pretty face and being a female, with no experience its a worthless pick and there were so many other better qualified choices out there. But Republicans can say the same, they chose Obama for a pretty black face, because there were so many more better qualified choices out there. After Barry's "historic" speech Mccain makes his choice. Instead of the media talking about Barry's speech its all about Palin, perfectly executed by Mccain. With her being relatively unknown Democrats have to dig deep and search for dirt on her, and it may actually take time as she seems pretty clean. This choice has sent quite a few democrats into a raged frenzy, saying this is a terrible choice for VP, blah blah blah. Believe it or not she will attract alot of Hillary voters. If you went to the PUMA websites and Hillary websites there was an OVERWHELMING majority saying they are now voting for Mccain. And just for fun.... http://web.me.com/dnksr/vpilf.com/SARAH ... Palin.html
  17. I was somewhat on the fence the past couple weeks again, but with Mccain's VP choice there is no doubt in my mind whom I'm going to be voting for now.
  18. I'm sure some of you have seen this. 16-Year old drops out of school to play guitar hero http://tech.yahoo.com/blogs/null/101746 Thought it was somewhat relevant to this topic.
  19. Wrong. I'm going to assume you posted the incorrect link.
  20. One issue voters, on an issue that will NEVER be overturned, when we're on the brink of another war and a continued war, with an economy teetering on recession...are you serious? Seriously? Really? http://www.nytimes.com/2008/08/07/us/po ... ref=slogin *sigh* Yep, I'm serious. I could make a big whole spiel about all my beliefs, but I don't need to waste all my time on a forum quoting everyone and telling them how they are wrong. I'm not going to attack you for your useless opinion, and I don't think you need to attack other people for theirs.
  21. ROFL I totally agree. He won't play the whole season, at least I don't think so. The Jets aren't going anywhere this year, and I don't think Favre can "lead" them. He's too overdramatic. And yes, thank GOODNESS this whole thing is over, I really hated turning on Sportscenter and seeing his name EVERYWHERE. Now they can finally focus on the Olympics and other sports news that matter!! Yeah, and on their ticker scrolling news on the bottom they had a whole section labeled FAVRE, along with MLB, NFL, etc.
  22. I don't know if I've ever seen such a whiny ego maniac athlete, ever.
  23. I'm going to end up voting for Mccain. One of my biggest issues is abortion and I have the same views as most conservatives on that. I'm curious to also see a little more on the social security issue, I don't think either has really addressed it too much this election.
  24. It's been in that spot since it came out, but it's dropping like a rock. Was all the way at 9.5. Give it another month and it'll be at 9.0 or less. Still a darn shame to even have it ranked in the top 10, where it doesn't belong. I guess it goes to show that IMDB ratings are useless anyway.
