It most likely is house broken if it is 8 years old. Bladder infections (urinary tract infection) cause the dog to pee frequently, and the poster said that the dog had done it on Monday also, so an obvious possible answer would be bladder infection, wouldn't it? The same thing happened to my dog, she had a bladder infection and was peeing everywhere. Had to get her pee tested and then they had to perform surgery on her once they figured out what it was.
  2. I disagree, the entire 'theme' was explained throughout the entire movie, there was no need to think about it. [hide=]Especially at the ending when the Joker is hanging upside down, it's pretty much explained right there, and also at the very end when Gordon is talking to his son, that Batman is the hero Gotham derserves, but not the hero it needs right now. That was Harvey Dent. So they will hunt him because he can take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector...The Dark Knight.[/hide] But like I said, this was a very fun and entertaining movie to watch and I enjoyed it a lot.
  3. [hide=]Exactly, they were so straight forward, spoon fed. I hate when a movie spoon feeds me the "message." You obviously didn't get what I meant, I maybe should've worded it differently.[/hide]
  4. I finally saw this tonight, I heard all the hype and was afraid it was going to be over hyped and overrated. It was, in my opinion. I think what I'm annoyed about the most is people comparing this to great cinema, great movies, when it is not. It is a superhero-popcorn-action flick, and a great one at that. In my opinion this doesn't come close to great movies like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, The Godfather (even though it's not one of my favorites), A Clockwork Orange, and it isn't even close to Christopher Nolan's greatest movie Memento. That is what I'm disappointed about the most. I saw some replies here about it being #1 on IMDB, yes, it is currently but it will be dropping again, and already is at a 9.3. I imagine it should level out between the top 10-50 somewhere. [hide=]What I do enjoy about the movie however, is the portrayal of Joker, just like everyone else said. And there really isn't much more to be said, it was great, the mannerisms of licking the lips and the way he spoke was fantastic.[/hide] [hide=]The rest? Typical superhero action movie. Throw a girl in there, add some fancy technology (the cellphone thing was ridiculous), add a plot twist or two, throw it in the oven for a couple hours and its a great action movie. I read somewhere that people thought this had some sort of underlying deep tones and messages too it. I didn't see it, I think everything was easily read and spoon fed to the audience.[/hide] With that I would give the movie a 7/10, it was great fun and entertaining.
  5. Searched around and couldn't really find anything in the forums, thought I would post it under here since I'm using it for gaming. Anyway, I'm currently shopping around for a 1080p LCD television, looking on various websites like newegg and what not. This TV will mostly be used for my PS3, and of course regular TV usage. Right now I have a shortlist of HDTV's. Looking at a SHARP AQUOS, 37" currently priced around $1000 (which is around what I want to spend). But I'm curious to hear comments on people who have experience with HDTVs and if there is anything else I should be looking for in them and showing me other good websites with some deals.

17 wasn't anything special fro me, 18 was somewhat exciting. 21 was awesome, but after that its down hill...I guess I have 25 to look forward to, lower car insurance.
  7. I made the mistake of quitting my job earlier in the year thinking I would get one for the summer. My old job paid $9.70/hr plus tips, but it was in a casino and I couldn't stand the second hand smoke or the customers (but that comes with most jobs). Anyway I quit back in January before I went back to college for my 2nd semester last year. March and April roll around and I start looking for jobs, and nothing was to be found that I was interested in, yes there were plenty of fast food and typical Wal-Mart jobs, in fact Wal-Mart offered to pay me $8.25/hr as a cashier but I really didn't want to work there. I ended up working at my old place of work at a grocery store in the meat department for only $6.50/hr, a huge pay decrease and I only worked 24 hours a week. But I didn't give up looking. May and June go by and I really didn't find anything, but I put my application and resume out to many places. I figured I would just work at the grocery store for the rest of the summer until college starts up again in late August. Well, that changed last week when I got a call from a place I sent my resume into back in early May. It was a promotional products distributor, silkscreening and printmaking on pretty much any promotional object you can think of, piggy banks, hand bags, key chains, pens, all that sort of junk. Apparently one of their production plants in Cedar Rapids, Iowa flooded and they were way behind on orders, so they offered me a job to come help for the rest of the summer until I go back to school in a month. Needless to say I'm pretty stoked about this, its crazy hours and crazy money because they are behind on these orders. I have some pretty funky hours, 7PM to 7AM, 12 hours shifts, and I get pretty tired and sore from the lifting and standing but I'm not going to complain because the pay is great, $9.99/hr + I get anywhere from 8-32 hours extra of overtime which pay $15.00/hr. I'm just happy I can finally make some money this summer before I go back to school Anyway, to get to my point, before you quit make sure (if you have to) you find a different job, make sure it is something you can stand doing, working at Wal-Mart was something I didn't really want to do at all, whiny annoying customers and their kids. So I took that pay decrease, but I guess it ended up working out after all, but I was very lucky.
  8. Ahhh, studied this a lot last semester in Architectural Design Theory. Heidegger came up with some good stuff in 'dwelling'. One of my studio instructors is obsessed with Alberto Perez Gomez, who is also big into Phenomenology.
  9. I saw it today. I was a little disappointed but it was entertaining enough. It was intense for the first 30 minutes for me until I saw the horridly done CGI on the mutants, it reminded me of the CGI robots from I-Robot but with a plot similar to 28 Days Later, as this movie didn't actually follow the book too closely.
  10. I worked at a grocery store at the meat counter for a couple years. Its just me and one other coworker in this small grocery store. One night, I think it was the night before Halloween, I heard this shuffling noise and a door slam. Someone was in a hurry to go to the bathroom, which were back by the meat counter, probably some old person I thought. Well time passed, maybe 45 minutes, I was cleaning up for the night and the door opens and an old lady peaks her head out and yells, "Butcher, Butcher!" So I figure thats me and go around the corner, she asks for a plastic bag. So I go back and grab a plastic bag and return to her, this time she has the door wide open and shes half naked from the waste down. So I go...OOOOOK, give her the plastic bag, she slams the door shut and proceeds to do whatever she is doing for another 30 minutes. 30 minutes later she comes out. I don't really notice her until shes in the meat aisle. Here she is, shes standing half naked from the waste down. Apparently she soiled herself and was carrying her stained clothes in the plastic bag I gave her. Yeah...I didn't know what to really do, she continued to shop and I went up to her and asked why she didn't have any clothes on, even though I already knew. She said she had an accident and asked to borrow my meat apron...Well I didnt really want to get my meat apron stained with anything other than...well...meat. So I declined and scooted away laughing. I got my other coworker to go talk to her and he didnt realize she was naked from the waist down at first, he thought she was just wearing tan pants. Then he looked and saw that one area and walked away. She continued shopping like this, luckily there was only 1 customer during this time. We ended up calling the police and they came and brought her back to her apartment. I must say that was one scary Halloween costume, but it was a day early. I have other stories similar to this I might share later.
  11. I prefer facebook, easy to use, simple clean cut. I have a myspace account, I might log into every couple months. I find it ugly, too much nonsensical stuff on it. Every page you go to you find some [developmentally delayed]ed music blaring out of your speakers. Seems like alot of them also create a page that is just too difficult to read with sharp contrasting colors, black on black text.
  12. I might be visiting there in the next few weeks :P I really have to get started looking at more colleges. I want to look at some places around the Twin Cities first and then start looking and colleges in neighboring states. The only one I have seriously looked at is Wartbug College in Waverly Iowa. ( not sure if anyone here has even heard of it =p) So if anyone knows of any nice colleges I should visit around the Twin Cities I would be grateful. ( I know there are a few Minnesotans out there  ) I went to school at Iowa State University for a year back in 2004, it was quite expensive (me living in Minnesota and paying out of state tuition). It might not effect you though if your parents are alumni and if you get scholarships and what not. I transferred to North Dakota State University, the campus isn't quite as nice as ISU and their food is crap but I do enjoy my classes much much more, it also saves me about 10 grand a year. Right now I'm in my 2nd year of Architecture and its extremely hard work but I'm having a blast (except during production week and everyone is stressed out about getting their models and drawings done). Quite a few of my friends went to UMD, they seem to enjoy it up there. If you want a party school St. Cloud State is a pretty good party school, couple of my friends go there. A lot of my classmates went to private colleges like in Northfield, forget what they're called. Another popular one (if you're not looking for a huge campus like the U of M) is MSU at Mankato, many of my relatives went there. If you're looking for reciprocity you can always look at colleges in Wisconsin, North Dakota (although its extremely cold in the winter here), and South Dakota.
  13. I've been running just fine. Although last week I was about to do a Heroic when the server crashed. It did it again the day after, was kinda pissed about that but I got over it quickly enough, **** happens.

Ive been looking at some videos online, all I can say is the game looks amazing. I just wonder how high I can do the settings with my computer, I would think about medium. I only have 1GB RAM, Nvidia 7900GTX 512mb, but its a laptop, which Im a little worried about.
  15. Im from Minnesota, it's pretty cool to see a team from MN in there, and still winning too.
  16. I usually get 35-40 in large cities, in Shat its anywhere from like 10-40, depends where I am at. Otherwise i get around 60 everywhere else.
  17. I probably won't, a good friend of mine picked it up. But I still may pick up mining just for the money, skinning/leatherworking seems completely useless to me.
  18. http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/chara ... Dingledorf As you can see I'm still farming Mech. chests. Hopefully I'll have 5000g by Tuesday/Wednesday and I can start focusing more on other stuff. Guild really isn't using me on raids at the moment anyway. I've been thinking about changing my professions to something else that makes more money or something useful, like enchanting/mining.
  19. English please? I don't understand a word you're saying. "There are different people in the world", what? There are many many players in WoW at one time. "I don't like doing the same thing sorry for all that." Ehm, wow. This just in but runescape does not have a lot of unique things to do. Yes, it has different skill names but lets look at them: Mining: Click a rock, get an ore. Fishing: Click the water, get a fish. Woodcutting: Click a tree, get a log. Ooh, exciting! Lets look at combat options: Combat: Click a monster, wait a few moments, get loot and xp. That sure is exciting, oh boy, let me tell you! If you're interested in tradeskills, WoW has that. PvP? Has it. Combat is varied, and you can mix it up between questing, instancing and even just some straight grinding once and a while. I'm sorry but all runescape is is grinding. So so so true. I can't believe I even played Runescape while WoW has been out. I mean, what do you do when you reach level 126...exactly? Buy a party hat? Whoopie! It's a simpleton game, if you enjoy that sort of thing, so be it, but I enjoy more of a challenge than just, *Click* watch my character wave a whip in the same motion over and over and over, *Clank, Clank, Clank* monsters dead, repeat 500 bajillion times. WoW is so much less of a grindfest, sure you grind 70 levels, but after that? Start doing some raiding which is the best part of the game. The game doesn't even start until you reach 70 in my opinion. I find it a shame I wasn't able to enjoy the raiding pre-BC though (I was still playing that game called Runescape). Don't get me wrong though, I did enjoy alot of Runescape, it introduced me to the mmorpg's. Its just gets so old so fast.
  20. Respecced back to sub. to farm Mech chests, talk about easy money, during the downtime while i wait for my instance timer to reset I level my priest.
  21. Went on my first raid to Kara the other night, was alot of fun. I feel totally useless in the raid group as a rogue though, with no buffs or anything. I've decided to start up on my priest again and see how that goes.
  22. Finally dinged 70 on my rogue yesterday...now I have to find a decent guild to join.
  23. I dinged to 63 on my Rogue today. Nadril have you tried Subtlety spec? I love shadowstep awesome for the first crit hit. Its pretty much the only thing I've used so far, kinda weak in raids and instances though. Whats your favorite spec you've done so far? On the cities- I thought Ironforge was pretty easy to get around, its basically a circle with a center. Undercity was confusing for me at first, the entrance was very confusing when first entering it. Eventually you get used to it and its very similar to IF (circle with a center). SW was confusing because it just seems so big sprawled (like someone said before).
  24. Just started a priest on a PVP server (Gul'Dan). I was wondering if any of you have some experience on PVP servers. Once I got to 20 I went to Hillsbrad and I can't count how many times I've been ganked. I'm up to 24 now and I headed west to Stonetalon (or whatever its called). This place seems to have less people, which is good, I've only done a few quests but haven't been killed yet. Can you recommend some other places with relatively low populations where I wont be killed every 2 minutes?
