A New Hope (the x-wing assault on the deathstar) Revenge of the Sith (opening orbit battle sequence) Starship Troopers (the orbital battle above Klendathu) Babylon 5 (the final Minibari assault on Earth) Battlestar Galactica (the entire New Caprica rescue)

April 28, 200719 yr I agree with what you said about revenge of the sith opening battle scene that has some pretty amusing lines in it if I remember rightly. Also at the end of return of the jedi is pretty good. Starship troopers is an awful film in my opinion but you're right about the space battle that is pretty cool, doesn't the captain woman get trapped in the closing door when they're evacuating :lol: what a death though...
April 28, 200719 yr The ending of Exodus, Part II and escape from New Caprica is by far the best thing ive ever seen in a scifi show possibly ever. April 28, 200719 yr As soon as I saw this I was thinking "everyone is going to say Star Wars. I'm going to have to bring up BSG". Turns out everyone else thought of it already :P . Babylon 5 (the final Minibari assault on Earth) For some reason I can't remember all that much about B5. I do remember a space battle I think was the Vorlons (sp?) against the Shadows, with the other various races kind of joining in, also I think the "first ones" were a part of it too. It's quite possible that in my memory all the different space battles got merged into one huge, epic battle, but yeah that battle was my one of the best :D . As a Browncoat I feel I must mention the space battle in Serenity, it was pretty good space battle wise but the whole thing was just awesome: [hide]Serenity coming out of the fog/cloud thing, followed by hundreds of Reaver ships.[/hide]
April 28, 200719 yr Author Oh man, I forgot about the battle in Serenity... that was pretty darn spectacular. I remember that Babylon 5 battle. Sheriden managed to finally get the Shadows and Vorlons to fight one another... The battle I was thinking of was the one from the movie In The Beginning. Has anyone seen Star Wreck? Specifically, the lastest one The Perkinning? The space battles in that are amazing despite being an amateur production.
