  1. If I remember correctly there's a Idi Amin impression in the beginning of a Maiden song "Still life" made by Nicko.
  2. I must say that the best ones I can come up with are Victor Wooten, Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke and Jaco Pastorius.
  3. I've also had my experiences with the making of Kilju. Me and my brother were supposed to get a few gallons of it made by the time of a certain Finnish holiday and we were in a bit of a rush so we used something called 'super-yeast', which was supposed to speed up the process. Well, it didn't actually turn out as well as we had imagined. The yeast didn't actually work as fast as it was supposed to, so the fermentation wasn't quite finished when we started bottling it causing a massive pressure in the bottles. One night I woke up to a series of 'poof'-sounds and walked to the balcony, where I was keeping the bottles, just to find that the whole floor was flooding with a sticky fluid. #-o
  4. Sold my santa for a guy in world 1 for 20,2 and ten minutes later he sold it back to me for 19,7. Phr33 5ooK pl0x! :D
  5. But since two of them have quit that leaves us with only Leesters
  6. Welcome back Leesters. We really needed someone to look up to since we lost Wakka. Have fun exploring the new updates and good luck on the goals  EDIT: You can find the post announcing his retirementhere
  7. Since Leesters triumphant return to tip.it I'd have to say him. Let's face it, the guy's a legend.
  8. Just noticed the same one with the wrong icon. Can't be bothered to post a pic though. Reported it already.
  9. there's not much to choose from in non-members, so it's just a plain red cape for me..
  10. Like the posts before me stated, you won't get a mark for that but just in case you'll need it some day. It's the "Appeal an Offence/Ban"-link under Account Recovery on the main page.
  11. A swiss army-knife. Just look what MacGyver could do with it, sky's the limit.
  12. I guess that's the closest thing to me with these options, though I don't have sideburns anymore.
  13. Just to name a few of my favourites. Slayer, Testament, Gojira, Lamb of God, Pantera, Sepultura, Grip inc. and Mokoma.
  14. I wouldn't say, I've never been a great fan of their music style. But they're nice people in person, their drummer, Jaska Raatikainen, just bought a lot for a summer cottage in our neighbour so we've seen each other a few times. EDIT: fixed a typo
  15. For me it's quite hard to say, really. Both of my parents listen to quite literrally everything and it has had an impact on my upbringing. Mostly I do listen to metal, but I do enjoy occasional jazz, blues etc.
  16. That's some mixture  . Although I must admit that I would've taken Dimebag and Lombardo into my group so that it would look something like this: Lead: Dimebag Darrel Rythm:Kuisma Aalto from Mokoma Vocals: Either Chuck Billy from Testament or Tom Araya (possibly the bassist). Drums: Dave Lombardo (Slayer, Testament, Grip Inc. and so on), Chris Adler (Lamb of God) or Tomas Haake (Meshuggah) Bass: Tom Araya or Paulo jr. from Sepultura The style would be Post-Trash a.k.a. Groove Metal
  17. A shade between green and blue. Can't really tell myself. Most say they're more blueish than green.
  18. I can't believe someone is actually taking time to think about what to write on the off-topic. Anyway a great read, as usual. Looking forward to the next five days. =D>
  19. You can do wonders even with the most basic statistical calculator, just type '16415317' or '184594917' and put HEX.
  20. Meshuggah - Suffer In Truth. A week ago I had to help my mate out transcripting it from notes to tabs and it's been stuck in my head ever since.
  21. A cat called Jumpstart. Though she's usually refered to as 'kitty' or such.
  22. I've also seen them both live and hated Turisas. Can't take a band seriously when they're dressed up as knights on stage. Deathstars were a bit neutral, nothing special imo.
