Chocobodude0
So, yesterday afternoon, my entire family was in our living room, and the majority of us were listening to music. When I saw it, I realised that my family has totally different tastes in music. I listen to hip-hop/rap, while my younger brother listens hip-hop/rap and rock, my older brother listens to metal, my sisters listen to pop and R&B, and my parents listen to...Uhh, Elvis. :P So, how is music taste in your family? Do you all listen to mainly the same genre of music, or is it a wide array of genres like my family? The answer is really instresting when you think about it, so answer away. Icingdeath
My dad likes Aerosmith, Neil Young, Warren Zevon. My mom likes Aerosmith and country. My bro likes classic rock and metal I'm the same as my bro. I listen to the same stuff as my parents, but they hate metal hehe. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.
woopidoo2
My mother and father: 100% Gospel. No wonder, my dad gets free CDs because he is the (second) owner of a Gospel Label company. My mother was and is a fan of Abba though, but she doesnt listen to it. Sister: From very old to Gospel, sometimes I dont see why she listens to it. (Like DHT - Listen to your Heart, ( Aerosmith - I dont wanna miss a thing, Enrique Eglesias - Hero, etc) Brother: About the same music taste as me. Me: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fatboy Slim (I must be the only one here who likes Fatboy Slim :P ) And sometimes, like once in 2 months something from the charts  (My father doesnt like the fact that I listen to RHCP, I tried to listen to Christian Metal/Rock bands but I just dont like those.) Mostly I do listen to metal, but I do enjoy occasional jazz, blues etc. Nodding DuckRange: 71/80|Strenght:70/70 |Currently starting at members|

Mr_Putter
I listen to older rock, mostly on the soft side. I'm not really partial to the standard ACDC/Led Zeppelin that most people associate with classic rock. My mom listens to Oldies. My dad listens to a mix of stuff (a lot of movie soundtracks and adult contemporary). My one brother listens to underground punk, and my other brother listens to more popular mainstream punk and alt-rock (I think).
