April 29, 200719 yr Do you guys think I could manage it? My lvls are: Att 68 Str 60 def 60 prayer 43 mage 56 range 44 ( I think) I heard that its fairly hard at the end. I've also heard that the difficulty at then end is over-rated... So I don't know. I most likely will get 70 att and a few str lvls first. So, what do you guys think?
April 29, 200719 yr I wouldn't worry about melee levels, I never used melee the whole quest. April 29, 200719 yr Even with 44 range, it's easy to range the final dude: when your in the place with the demon, run over the bridge, outside the range of the demon. Wait a while (always convenient if you got friends to chat with) and after waiting, go in: the demon will be low on health due to the gnomes, you just need to finish him (since the gnomes do less damage in the end than the demon can regenerate)
April 30, 200719 yr I don't know. My levels are all higher than yours but I haven't finished it yet :oops: I'm not a big fan of questing as I'd rather train skills. The parts I've dont are getting kind of frustrating :cry: LOOK! A monkey!

What i did: I got a charged glory, the sigil, and my dds That way, if I failed and died, I could just pop the sigil right back on (as i kept all 3 items) and keep trying the spec thing until he died before I did
April 30, 200719 yr Author Ya know, that sounds like a good idea. So just put on the sigil, run over the bridge so the gnomes can get him, then spec him 2 or 3 times? No costs for P pots and no loss of anything if I die. Sounds good, thanks!
April 30, 200719 yr I did monkey madness on these stats Attack 61 Strength 72 Def 20 HP 64 Pray 25 Magic 61 I used 200 lobs...Died 10 times...Took me two trys to win the final fight...I used magic to fight him...Fire magic works well.....Good Luck... After completing the quest....I ended up getting 35 def for talking to dearo or whatever....That really sucked because I wanted to stay 20 def...But now I have 40 def....Again, Good Luck (GMT -5 Hours Eastern Time USA)

May 2, 200719 yr From experience... rofl, I had 55 pray when I did MM with around 55ish melee stats and 50ish range stats.. At the final monster, move away and put on protect from mage and range him with arrows steel + (reccomend mith) 99 Crafting acheived 31/01/0899 Strength acheived 17/12/07

May 4, 200719 yr For sure, maybe get ranged up to 50 though. Make sure you have LOTS of sharks or tuna potatoes for the ENTIRE quest though. I did it without prayer on a different account. Just took 3 - 4 hours :P ~73/80 Str~
May 4, 200719 yr I finished it yesterday with: 61 attack 62 str 60 def 70 range 43 pray I did the whole quest in just 4 hours (using a guide) Get your range to 50, you'll do it really easy.
May 4, 200719 yr Who-ever told you that the end is over-rated couldn't be more correct. It is the easiest part of the quest and with your stats you will easily manage.
