Loden_Son
Well Im 61 mage with a short term goal to get to 70 mage... I was thinking about alching the whole way to LvL 70... Its like 6.5k alch to get to lvl 70... Its also about the same lvl 4 enchants... So I was wondering What can I alch to break even??? With yews I wont break even...( if I buy Strait out ) Well Ill have to rc more nats and that takes awhile or fletch bows then Ill make a profit... But I have a full time Job, so I really dont have alota time to fletch and Rc if u know what I mean??? :boohoo: or I can craft 3k nats and sell for 900k and by all comics for mage training and do Lvl 4 enchants all the way... thats super boring tho... Id like to alch at a bank if I can.... Idk... Id like to hear some wisdom on alching tho... All the Input that u give me, Id be very thankful.... Peace... Tired_souls
Well i was gonna suggest steel pl8s but if you dont want a full time job then it would take too long cause that would mean making your owns bars and then smith into pl8s. incase u do this route u can buy iron for 90 maybe less and coal for 170-190 tops then make bars and mkain into steel pl8s u get profit forgot how much u get but its over 1.2k
IGotGrapes
Just take your 5m or whatever, merch it to the point where you'll 'break even' by using the extra merch money. yews is the best way to do it.
Loden_Son
So make nats and an just buy yew bows and alch bows??? or make 3k nats and sell and get cosmics and enchant arena mini game that only takes 700k to 800k too get to goal... Ahhhhh so hard to chose
Freesia
Well green dhide bodies are about 4.4k each and should alch for 4.68k. If you can find a seller that sells nats at 280 each, then you will break even. Still it's going to be hard Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. compens
If you bought yews around sreet value (250-300 each), you'll lose money pretty heavily because you only get about 90gp from each when you alch them. When I alch purely to lvl up, I use something I have an abundance of, usually some type of lower rune stone, like fires, waters, or airs. I get tons of airs when I kill chaos druids for herbs. Plus, you can put any number of runes in your inventory, so you're not constantly refilling inventory every 26 alchs . . . You only get 2gp per rune, but I don't alch for money . . .
