the contrast between the blurred effects round the sprite, and then the sharp sparkly bits around the focal area. the text is horrible btw. dont place it in the middle of the focal area! circled borders should be rounded up and shot.

other than that its nice :P

according to most of gfx sites, text should be place as near as it can to the focal point, cause otherwise it would take the focal out of it.

nah. unless theres lots of neg space in it like in this case i would put it away from the focal point and hide it somewhere in the BG. if its like this id leave ie textless (which is how i wear my sprite tag) but i dont trust this forum not to have rippers. on PR where i wear it, im confident in them that they WILL find a ripper if there is one. it depends on the forum as to if you can use text or not. sometimes not is the better looking option.

I like it.

I'm debating if I like all the deadspace though. part of me thinks that perhaps it could be expanded on slightly. Not the full blown blue but perhaps having a bit "leak out" more than the couple sparks.

Text is a good placement but tough to read if someone didn't know what it was suposed to say.

I like, didn't you enter this in a battle? I like the sparkley-ness :D

I think that the placement of the text is fine. Except maybe make the text a little bigger because it's right there on the edge of being to small for me.

if the text was better i wouldnt mind the placement. but it sticks out like a sore thumb in this tag. ugly white (maybe gradient to black?) text sitting in the middle of a blue tag =\

i think its ok, but waaaaaaaay too dark, i think you should fill out all the black space with a background.

i havent made a signature of this small format :(
