ixfd64
Because each file has to be checked, enforcing the no-BMPs rule can be tough. I know that the older forums used to censor .bmp image files, but users might not know that their URL was censored. So here's an idea. An admin could simply put this code somewhere on the forum: I'm not sure this code is free of bugs or compatible with all browsers, though. It should work as long as there is a replacement image located at 'http://forum.tip.it/nobmps.gif'. ____
The phpBB censor basically does that for all posts and signatures using as the world and the replace can be anything you want :P That doesn't interfere with normal linked pictures, just ones wrapped in the img tags :)

Mercifull
It would have to be placed in the bbcode.tpl file for each template. Ive done similar code to resize jpegs if people make them too big to stop the boards tretching. This is whats there atm Not sure how you would go about this though :-/ Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape.
