i think it picks up all range weps ( it atleast does bolts, javs, arrows and kebbit bows. i don't have knifes and trowing axes atm)

You know nothing...it picks up almost all range items made from metal (sertin metal for sertin backpack) as long as there is nothing blocking from you and the arrows, kinfes ect.

 

 

 

So your answer is yes it will, don't listen to these spamming wannbes..

yes it picks knives i try they make steel arrows when u do wear accumulator

it works on any ranged weapon that drops onto the ground after you use it (I'm not sure about obby rings....)---not just iron and steel. They will only SPAWN iron or steel ranged items into your inventory as you walk around.

I have the accumulator, and it picks my iron knives up when I fight fire giants. The steel/iron difference is just what the cape creates, not the ranged item it picks up. It doesn't work if you're wearing metal or shooting over/around something (the fremenik archer helms still work), but there are a few safe spots that work with it.

it picks up..steel arrows,knives,bolts,and darts;mithrill arrows,bolts, and darts;addy arrows,bolts,darts,knives....you get the point. it picks up poisoned ones too.

wrong, it also picks up kebbit bolts those aren't matal i think. If you paid attention in the question you would vind out it picks up stuff with either: metal (so almost all range weps) feathers (so arrows and darts) and wood (most range weps including kebbit bolts)

I must have been behind an obstacle last time then...or since it was so long ago I don't even remember them bein picked up.

To Clear things up.. There are 2 types of Ava's machines.. One I think is before 50 range, that one picks makes IRON arrows, knives, and Darts (Must have completed Tourist Trap I think), and they appear in your inventory when the device is equipped and you walk around. That device also picks up ANY range weapon you fire (with no metal armour on I think) For example, you fire a rune arrow from a MSB, 75% of the time the rune arrow would appear back in the arrow slot, and the other time it either breaks or appears on the floor.

 

 

 

Second Device, I think you have to be over 50 range to get it upgraded, is Ava's Accumulator. It makes STEEL arrows and occasionally knives, darts (If you finished Tourist Trap). This machine also returns 75% of all your FIRED range weapons back to the right slot.

 

 

 

This means, it not only just picks up your IRON/STEEL arrows/knives/darts

 

but they pick up your FIRED weapon.

 

 

 

Note: If you are in a safe spot that blocks your way in between the monster, then the machines DO NOT work, you have to pick them up yourself. If you are in a safe spot, but the monster just cannon fit through, then your machine WILL pick them up.
