Well, I got to 85 for magic longs, and, now, I figure Im close enough and why not have a cool cape with some bonuses, so, Iv decided to go to 99.

 

 

 

Is it faster to fletch AND string the bows,

No, I wouldnt be here if I wanted pros and cons and mixed opinions, flat out, what is better.

The only time you don't string them is when the wood costs less than BS.

 

 

 

If you're doing willow, 200gp for a string is a waste; because you can buy 5 more logs with the money.

 

 

 

But with yews, logs cost 300 and BS is 180, so you string them to save money.

 

 

 

And if you don't fell like alching them, sell them to people who are training mage.

You can only cut about 1500 bows per hour. You can string about 4500 bows per hour. Both cutting and stringing each give the same exp, so if you buy unstrung bows and string them, thats the fastest fletching exp.

You can get AS MANY yew logs you want for 300 each all day long. You can also get AS MANY bow string you want for 180 each, meaning you only spend 480k, you can easly sell 1k longs for 600k, meaning you got a nice 120k profit. Now if you do the free exp thing then you pretty much gave away 120k...Now to get 99 it takes around 75k yew longs. So 75 x 120k = 9M. So if you do the free exp thing you pretty much scammed yourself out of 9M congratz!

You can't string 4500 bows an hour.... more like 3000.
