Replacements for Games Necklace teleport options.

With the new jewellery update and lunar spells update, we definitely are seeing more people staying on lunar spellbooks. Since the games necklace only offers two teleport options which is to games room and barbarian outpost. The teleport destination is easily replaced by bracelet of combat (dstone bracelet) which teleports you to warriors guild, relatively near to games room, also charges are rechargable on dstone bracelet but limited on games necklace. There is a teleport spell on lunar spellbook that takes you to barbarian outpost which also replaces the teleport option for games necklace.

With the additional spellbook change spell at lvl 96, we can change to normal spellbook to access trollheim if need be. Though not many actually goes to barbarian outpost often which is only available on lunar spellbook, less likely to affect players who don't keep lunar spellbook on at all times. With all these features will games necklace even be needed? Maybe they can earn you some better money being sold as recoils?

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

no, not a all... it will always be used, and never considered a low lvl item - tell me how many people you know that have 96 mage, that would bother casting swap just so they could cast another spell... seems like a waste of runes

I'm only 93 magic but I will keep lunars on and carrie a mage potion when I'm farming for getting to th and while slaying, I'll use it to hi alch those rune/addy drops and house tele after I speak to Duradel using NPC chat. The only thing that will change there is that I probably will stop hi alching mith drops and the steel 2hrs from nechs. Another use is that I won't have to switch to ancients while killing green drags. I"m sure I'll think of more later, but leaving lunars on is definitely worth it for me while skilling.

and I don't mage pk but I wouldnt have lunars on while pking if I did, I don't think. I'll just have to experiment and play with it.

I wish I could change all my game neckys to recoils. :P

Well, not everybody has a d stone or money for a combat bracelet or a d stone necklace. Games necklaces are easily accessible and are cheap. That may be the aspects of a 'low level item,' but it's useful and affordable, so why toss it as a low level item?

i got 2 d stone bracelets, and the only thing i use them for is the slayer thing, the places it takes me to are totally useless, i'd rather stay on normal magic, and why cast 2 spells when i can just cast one. i'll stick with the gaming necklace

I agree, the games necklace is very cheap and easy to make. Best of all the two teleports it offers are great ones.

In my first post I only mentioned 96 mage as a way to access trollheim.

The dstone brace replaces games room tele option

the lunar magic spell replaces tele option to barbarian outpost.

If you actually take the title so offensive, fine I'll change it :wall:

lol i guess that low level comment threw some peeps off topic. The point is why would you continue to use the games neck when the bracelet warrior guild tele is a much FASTER way to the hero's guild. I only use barb tele to get to fg's and lighthouse so it's not like I need to have a free tele there. I'm a broke skiller but not that bad off.

I think it's safe to say the majority of players who would have need of these two teleports can afford at least one dragonstone. What are they like 50k now? And they never poof away, so in the long run dragonstones are cheaper.
