kdb148
Gnome stronghold is OK. Tzhaar is a waste of time, it's always way too crowded. With a necklace of skills and a dueling ring, the crafting guild is your best bet. Probably better even than the Arzinian mine. Check out this cool browser gladiator game! exdeath
I highly doubt the crafting guild can be considered better than the arz mine. There's not enough rocks, and whenever I'm at the guild I always see someone mining them. Maybe you don't know this, but there is an npc that banks your ores at the arz mine so you don't have to walk all the way back ya know. You just need to let him keep some (less with a ring of charos(a)) If you really don't want to do the arz mine, then I guess you're stuck with the three choices above. The guild might be better if you have the teleport stuff. If you don't have the skill bracelet you can use the balloons w/ oak logs and dueling rings (if you completed enlightened journey) Offering 91 and 93 herblore assists. PM me in game. Captainkidd
Guild in P2P worlds with fally tele tabs and 36? agility is super fast. First you'd tele to fally, bank ores, run down to short cut, go though it. GEt in side guild, mine full load of ores and repeat. I suppose the obby mines might be faster just I havn't been there so I wouldn't know.

lordkafei
The best place is the Brimhaven gold circle, hands down - if you have done the Holy Grail quest. There is a fairy ring near the grail castle. So you can go this route: Zanaris ---> Ring BJR ---> blow the whistle (there is one in the castle in case you didnt keep yours) ---> Arrive just north of the ring Mine the ores Go back north and blow the whistle ---> Go back to Zanaris by the ring ---> Bank Lather, rinse, repeat and keep all your ores. Alternatively, you can mine at the circle, use your Karamja gloves (or the rickshaw) and bank in Shilo, then take the rickshaw back. Lather, rinse, repeat and keep all your ores. Maybe you don't know this, but there is an npc that banks your ores at the arz mine so you don't have to walk all the way back ya know. You just need to let him keep some (less with a ring of charos(a)) Yes, I am well aware of how the arzinian mine works. On a full world with no competition, there is very little waiting time in the crafting guild, and none if your mining is below 80 or so - and members worlds rarely have miners in the crafting guild. Hell, free worlds rarely have miners there that aren't autoers. Banking through cwars/skills necklace is much faster than running to the boatman. You probably save 30 seconds per load of ore in banking time using the crafting guild. Not to mention, you lose 4 ores per run to the arzinian mine, even with a ring of charos - 3 that the boatman takes as his fee, plus the inventory spot you have to leave open to remove your gold helmet. That means that for every 6 mining runs to the crafting guild, you have to do 7 runs to the arzinian mine to bank the same amount of gold. That means that, accounting for banking time and extra runs, the time for mining 27 ores in the arzinian mines would have to be less than 3/4 that of mining 28 ores in the crafting guild. That's a rough estimate using 1 minute as the respawn time for gold, but on a fairly crowded world this seems an accurate approximation to me. And there is no way it is that much faster - if a full load takes 4 minutes to get in the guild, it would have to take less 3 minutes in the arzinian mines in order for that to be a better place to mine. And I can tell you from lots of gold mining experience that it's simply not that much faster. Conclusion - if you have the jewelry, use the crafting guild. If you don't, the Brimhaven method mentioned above is probably also better than the arzinian mine - the gold helmet is so heavy that your run energy runs out extremely fast. That slows you down because the rocks are somewhat far apart in the arzininan mine. In the crafting guild and on Brimhaven, they are all right next to each other.
