crow
maybe get 70 def for a better armour? Also, try getting 55 slayer, slayer dart is convenient.
Roberthree
55 slayer, the appropriate house portals, and any alter in your house are useful.
hahaha900
Thanks. I have another question. I read through the tip.it barrows guide and in the rewards part it says that every killed brother drops something into the chest. The list given with this is this: Mind runes - around 300 per brother Chaos Runes - around 120 per brother Death runes - around 75 per brother Blood runes - around 40 per brother Bolt racks - around 38 per brother Gold pieces - 10-1000 per brother So does this means that if i kill all 6 brothers, and my reward is mind runes, i get 1800 minds? purpieman2
no, its random. The highest mind i ever got was around 400 that way.
Mischlings
That's usually closer to the average per run; you'll get some of each type of rune, along with racks and gold. I think the guide is off in what it says. Since money is no object, get 50 construction, Kharyrll (Canifis) portal, and an altar. Also, spend a week on slayer and get 55; most efficient way to do barrows. Maybe get magic up a bit; 61 will work, but higher is always better. And get prayer up; 48, maybe 52 (every 4 levels, it increases the restore by a potion by 1). With 61, I can usually kill 3 brothers without needing a dose, which is very helpful. Also, should I need a dose, the 22 points I get back are usually enough to kill 1 brother. As for what to wear, there are tons of barrows guides out there. As a general rule, for the chest, legs, and helmet, focus on melee defence (full rune, full torags, etc.), and for other slots (cape, boots) focus on magic attack (god cape, mystic/wizard/infinity boots). Use the best RfD gloves you can, since those are hands down the best gloves in the game. Glory is good for an amulet and doesn't cost a fortune like a fury. Bring dragonhide/karils top and bottom and a good bow for Ahrim. Also, with your melee stats, it'd be best to mage Karil, so no need to bring weapons to melee him with (but still bring a whip or something for kill count in the tunnels). As for efficiency, it's probably best to do one run per trip. That way, you'll rarely use prayer potions. For the best balance between speed and money, here are some tips. 1) Use house teletabs to get out; saves 2 inventory spaces. 2) When fighting Dharok and Karil in their crypts with prayer, use dragonhide/karils; better mage bonus, and since you're praying, defence doesn't matter. 3) Verac should be fought with a safespot, unless you usually have a lot of food left over. He's annoying to kill as he hits through everything, so I recommend just going with forcespawning him in the tunnels. For the sake of conserving food, however, I recommend safespots. 4) Following the same idea, bring one prayer potion, in case of a Karil tunnel. He's nasty and will hit you constantly, hard, and through almost all armour. Also, if you're unlucky against Ahrim like me, you may want to pray on him, too. 5) Kill count is iffy. I go for 20+ out of superstition, but most people don't get much more than 10, trying to go as quickly as possible. It's up to you, but use a good, fast weapon to lower the time you spend killing the monsters. 6) The puzzle door can get very frustrating, since you're likely to be attacked while trying to solve it. To get some time to think, get a monster to attack you, run to the other side of the room, then run back to the door, clicking on it as soon as you can. Since the monster has to follow you, you get a little extra time to think. 7) If your inventory is full after searching the chest, right click on the ground at your feet to see if there's something that didn't fit in your inventory. I almost missed a Guthans spear from not checking on the ground, so always make sure. That's all that came to me off the top of my head; if I can remember more, I'll add them. If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

chenw
However, I feel you need to know this: 1. Kill count does not affect item rate, if it does, it LOWERS it. 2. You CANNOT get any blood runes unless your kill count is 8 or more, and Bolt racks unless its 9 or more. 3. Killing multiple copies of the brother doesnt work to increase rewards, only thing matters is that you killed the brother. 4. Bolt racks drop is worth less than a death rune drop. 5. The above statistics say that if one of the brothers decided to drop mind runes into the chest, it would be around 300, though you can have multiple brothers dropping minds in the same run, or have none (my record is 1100+ in one run). 6,924th to 30 hunting, 13,394th to 30 summoning, 52,993rd to 30 DivinationKiln Record (Post-EoC): W 25 - L 0, 14 Uncut Onyx, 8 Jad hits received (Best record: Two in the same kiln)Obby set renewed post update #2: 0QBD drops: 21 crossbow parts, 3 Visages, 1 Kites, 2 KitsMax Port Score [2205] Achieved: 27th April 2013 (World 2nd) Farmyard Rampage ranking: 12th, 50,000 Kills.
