A new quest in the continuation of the Arrav storyline?

Featured Replies

For anyone who has read the third and fourth parts of the Arrav story on the main site(a great read when you have time) then you will have seen that at the end of the story there is mention of the dreaded day when the Mahjarrat returns leading his army of the undead along with his greatest undead soldier Arrav.

After reading the entire story I feel that it would be awesome for Jagex to continue the story in-game with a quest, or maybe a series of quests. I see the Shield of Arrav becoming a wieldable item as well. Anyone else have similar/different opinions?(For those who read it anyway, read it before posting or don't bother because you probably won't know what exactly is going on.)

Sounds interesting, but these days how many people really speak Pirate?

It certainly fits in with all the other seeds Jagex has planted (the wise old man gathering power, zaros (in his guise as bob the cat) gathering power again, all sorts of antagonism between saradomin and zamorak). But it's most likely just going to turn out to be another incomplete storyline :(

that's y i hate quests, if they had some sort of storyline, i'd do them, but they don't. it's just tower of life, no background, just a random quest pulled out of the hat.

Are you crazy? The gods are what gives us prayer. How will you stop the power of the gods?

If you read the new stories you will know even Arrav got pwnt and he was strong.

Yeah and the thing is Arrav wasn't even fighting a God. True Zamorak was a Mahjarrat but that was before he was a God even. He didn't become a God until he stabbed Zaros in the back and took his power.

Perhaps, but that battle would be more or less the equivilent of slicing up servings of a steak for dinner.

Anyways, I would love to see a quest based on the Legend of Arrav.

Indeed, and he had a magical shield and everything, but that didn't stop him from getting throttled by a bunch of vines made out of magical smoke...

If I was an rs God and you tried to kill me; after finishing you, I would curse you for eternity by getting the evil chicken and evil bob to visit you every five minutes.
