Need advice on bank cleaning

Featured Replies

Well once again I have a full bank, and I need help on what to ditch and what to keep. (Please refrain from filling the thread with "oh give my your cash" or "oh I'll take such and such item off of your hands," I just need to know what I should get rid of)

As you can see, I'm lacking space to fit everything in there at any give time, please help.

Note:Lunar is there because I use the cape and gloves for my outfit

Note2: Yes I realized I didn't put nfs on everything but i'm tired, give me a break.

Plant all the saplings you have

Cook all your raw food

Get rid of the 9 normal ess

Fishing equipment you don't need (such as normal rods)

Make those blue feathers into arrow shafts

Train hunter and get rid of the bird traps and sell the chinchompas

Either put those extra keys on the ring or get rid of them

Make the half-keys into whole keys

Either turn in the frog tokens and put the rewards in your POH or drop them

Other than that, everything is just based on personal preference. Such as the elemental shield or the blue d'hide. You could try beating ME2 and getting rid of the Mourner clothes, but you may need those for other things, I don't know.

To get your keyring to stack, take all the keys off and drop it. Then talk to the guy you get it from and buy another.

perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is another

AMEN!

For ham, unless you can seriously see yourself training with ham I would get rid of them, they aren't worth much in pieces (and not that much as a set) and they only time they do anything is if you have the complete set. Other then that I would get rid of the cabbage and possibly the bananas. I would also get rid of the nails, after you hit a certain construction level (which I assume you have judging from the presence of mohagony planks), you don't use nails anymore, same goes for regular planks.

saplings-those will be gone in a couple days (I don't remember if I still need to collect some things for baskets but w/e)

raw food- it's the going to f2p w/ full bank set up, it's pretty hard to break that habbit once you've done it a couple times.

normal ess- I just happen to be out of it, I use it to craft my own runes instead of buying.

Fishing equipment- That's what the 104k feathers are for, I'll do the bait fishing first though and get rid of that rod (and the bait)

Blue feathers- consider them already iron arrows

Bird traps- dropped

chins- I'll have to keep them till I can get red chins

keys- well the red rimmed one can't go on the ring, but I need it for shade burning, the 2 dusty keys I'll ditch once I get an extra key ring (thanks for that bit by the way)

frog tokens- I've always had issues with these, I need to buy a bigger random event clothes chest.

Elemental shield, dhide, iron plate- treasure trails make you get the wierdest things?

Mourners clothes- yeah ME2 is on the list

HAM- I'm collecting the set for the 2 ham quests I haven't done (same note as mourner clothes)

cabbage- you tell that to an ooc member and see how long you live :shame:

bananas- ape atoll tele

Looks like I freed up 4 spaces immediately and maybe up to 20 in time, still couldn't hurt to get a free page (which I doubt will happen but you never know).

Chuck all the tools - they are worth 1gp ea

HAM robes are useless if you finished quest, as are monkey greegrees (keep ninja 1 in case u wanna train agility) but chuck any items from quests you have no use for

Turn all ore into bars and use all your bars up - you will be surprised how much space you get from that.

Finally, sell the stuff that arent in full sets (white mystic etc) as you only need 1 type of mystic etc

Those are my opinions. Some of them are probably on there from you trying to keep your bank sorted.

thanks for putting in that format, I can actually find things I didn't know where there (ie pot lids).

Most of those things you listed are used in treasure trails (blue dhide, bone spear)

Others from quests I find annoying to get (excalibar) I'll probably drop wolfbane since I find it sill as is.

Robes... those were the ones I kept after I dropped a couple sets

chef hat/brown apron used for guild entrance (yes I use them)

pots- ectofuntus (I can't afford a guilded alter atm)

buckets- farming

bowls- used for stuffed potatoes

ball of wool- space saver

teleport crystals I'll just say that it could be worse (ie taking up 4 spaces instead of 2)

And if I lost all the tools and bought one whenenver I needed it, it really adds up (I've tried it before)

ores and bars I'm a skiller that shifts off from p2p to f2p more than I probably should, I need place holders.

get rid of/sell:

mjolnirs -> useless as weapons

bazooka from MEP1

lederhosen outfit -> into POH

thieving stuff -> PP is better without lockpicks, or stethoscops, for thieving in rogues denn you can buy one for like 10gp or so

skull sceptre parts: what do you want with those if you have glories?

Also: enchant all jewelry, don't keep jewelry with different charges on them.

Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...

right, i'd say, drop the 9 normal essance, trun all the talimans into traias (rc exp as well), drop monk robes easy to get back, only have 1 set of mystic sell the others, claws are useless weapons sell to some noob, sell blue d'hide you got black, hand excalibur on a quest hall wall, drop those bone spears!, ya don't need elmetal shield, sell or drop skaneskin boots,

enchant the rings and sell the useless ones (rings or recoil) or high alch 'em, drop the gnome amulet, drop the 10th squad sigil *or unless you like it* post on runescape forums and sell most of those unneeded herb and herb seeds, gte con to 42 and put most of the stuff into costume room, sell some potions, drop harpoons you got the barbtailed ones, drop wool, spin the flax, drop the frog tokens, dear lord drop the hame stuff, sell the key ends or buy the other end and open the chest, bury or sell the bones, change the gorlies and that's it, by the way

MEGA NICE SANTA HAT!!!
