I have looked at some of the other posts, and have taken an interest in the Media Board now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I just have a few questions regarding the different types of sigs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1) What are all the BASIC ( I know everybody has their own style) types of sigs that are being created? I know there is like pixel sigs, and air-brushed ones..what else? Also examples for whos sig is what type would be helpfull, so I can put a picture to what you are saying.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) What is the difference between a pixel sig and a brushed sig? And are they sometimes combined? Examples of the differces again would be helpfull.

Well, there are pencil sigs, and pencil/brushed sigs, like the ones I've got...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The main difference between a pixel and a brushed sig is that pixel sigs are usually made literally pixel-by-pixel. At least I think that's what they are.

anyway ON-Topic:

 

 

 

1) theres pixel, airbrush, abstract,grunge, landscapes, and im sure im missing a few

 

 

 

2)brushed is more smoothed and usually less detailed, or just a smoother look, but with not the fine details that pixel by pixel artwork has

 

 

 

They are sometimes combined, jabraulter often brushes, and throws in like some pixeling with it. It adds a nice affect in my opinion. Go look at some of his posts and you'll see what im tlakin bout

I use alot of basic pictures and create techniques using effects and patterns. then slap em together throw emin the washer and claim what comes out. ( :evil: my throat hurts..)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: but the base image i scan from a crayon design. I'm limited on what I can do cause I only have psp7 and paint, and lack the will to read the manual the programs come with.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've been practicing sketching, so I might try to mix effect & sketch using layers.
