O_M_G_Guasto
Ok, everyone knows the Cooking cape is the easiest cape, and you can just buy all the food and sit in the rouges den gaining tons of exp in an hour alone. I was thinking of skills that you can't buy and must work for. Fishing is debatable though, you could buy all those feathers (but is that still "buying" the 99?), or you could lobster fish. Either way it still takes a long time but is it buying the 99?
fatdog16
no, because fletching, cooking, smithing, firemaking, ect are "secondary" skills in which you take what you got from another skill: smithing-mining, cooking-fishing, fletching/firemaking-woodcutting, ect. those are buyable because you can just buy the materials from another player and gain levels alot faster that the "non-buyable" skills, such as fishing. OF course that mother is badly crazy, but I dont understand why the 22 year old girl wants to live with and have sex with the 13 year boy, just because he is lvl 126 or something? masterben92
If using that logic, all skills would be buyable =p. Buying food and equipment for combat..an axe for woodcutting...ess for runecraftng..and so on. Big fat NO
O_M_G_Guasto
Makes sense... thanks! And even though a secondary skill 99 smithing is very impressive. 8-)
fatdog16
true, but mostly because its increadibly expensive just to buy bars. Master_Smither
Buying the skill is considered doing the fast way to get 99 liek lobs for cooking, Gold bars with gaunlets for smithing, and Buying yews for fletching. But it might be considered buyign to soem but to some not so it's a 50/50 thing you got there. I'd say it isnt since ur still fishing anf it takes awhile Click for My Blog670th to 99 Smithing July 21st, 07 |743rd to 99 Mining November 29th, 07 | 649th to 99 Runecrafting May 18th, 08 | 29,050th to 99 Defence October 20th, 08 | 20,700th to 99 Magic November 8, 08 | 47,938th to 99 Attack December 19, 08 | 37,829th to 99 Hitpoints December 24, 08 | 68,604th to 99 Strength February 4, 09 | 27,983rd to 99 Range February 9, 09 | 9,725th to 99 Prayer June 8, 09 | 6,620th to 99 Slayer December, 12 09 | 4,075th to 99 Summoning December, 28 09 | 3,551th to 99 Herblore February 24, 10 | 3,192th to 99 Dungeoneering November 11, 10 | 146,600th to 99 Cooking December 29th, 10 | 11,333rd to 99 Construction June 7th, 11 | 16,648th to 99 Farming August 1st, 11 | 19,993th to 99 Crafting August 2nd, 11 | 89,739th to 99 Woodcutting Janurary 1st, 12 | 55,424th to 99 Fishing May 9th, 12| 60,648th to 99 Firemaking May 12th, 12 | 16666th to 99 Agility May 17th, 2012 | 24476th to 99 Hunter June 1st, 2012 | 57,881st to 99 Fletching June 1st, 2012 | All 99s June 1st, 2012 | 3183th to 120 Dungeoneering July 24th, 2012 | 2341st to 2496 Total level July 24th, 2012 | Completionist Cape July 24th, 2012

Arambul
If you buy the supplies, then it's a bought skill, if not, then it's not a bought skill.

hatebringer
well fletching you buy all the supplies then fletch which takes time, so buying feathers could actually be called a bought fishing cape. it takes the easiest xp way to get 99. fletch =mage long bows cook=lobs or sharks, but only if you use alot of materials like thousands of logs/food the way you put it, fishing can be bought to 99 in my opinion 99 Fletching 99 Attack 99 Constitution 99 Cooking 99 StrengthGamertag: H8tebringer
Jimmyh7
Yes, it is bought, but is still impressive because it takes so DAMN long. :x
PuppyKing
Arambul, name a skill that you dont buy supplies for? Would thieving and agility work? Blog.
piman1053
No because buying more stuff can't make you fish faster. For instance: You could buy raw sharks for 1k each and sell cooked for 700 each. You would get buyers and sellers like crazy and amazing xp, but you would lose a lot of cash. You could buy gold ores for 600 each and sell bars for 300 each. Same thing, great xp, but lose a lot of cash. You can't really do the same with fishing. You can only get xp so fast and spending a lot of money for better xp dosen't really work. You can buy pots, but that really dosen't speed up the xp. As mentioned before, another good explanation is that it is a primary skill. Fishing, mining, and woodcutting are the 3 best examples of primary skills. Secondary skills use the resources aquired through primary skills. These are smithing, cooking, firemaking, fletching, and others, which are more complicated. The simple answer is no.
piman1053
If you buy the supplies, then it's a bought skill, if not, then it's not a bought skill. No, a bought skills is a skill that you can get xp much faster by means of losing a lot of cash. Ask Tripsis.
aglips
Arambul, name a skill that you dont buy supplies for? I'm not Arabul but I'd like to throw in my opinion. Like Arambul said thieving and agility. Add slayer, hunter, mining, woodcutting and fishing, One doesn't have to spend a lot of money on this skills. It's basically an investment of time. Lots of time in order to level these accts. There is no way to significantly speed up the process. "Buying" a skill means spending a lot of money, millions and millions of gp, in order to level the skills. The normal way to level the secondary skills is to do the primary skills and then use the items to level the secondary skills.
skeroh
No, fishing wouldn't be considered a "buying" skill. It's not a secondary skill, which are the skills that can be bought. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
