Midala87
It totally depends on what you are attacking. However, I would NEVER buy the mace. The extra prayer points is not an advantage as the mace has a weak attack. I would not waste time and money to get something when you already have something that is fully capable of your needs. Of course you may want to eventually upgrade to an abyssal whip.
picasso
D Baxe+ D long when training and dds+ D long when pking/killing something tough. D mace is useless in my opinion Click here for my blog <----MY BLOG
Sam
Dragon mace is rubbish. Just use dds, and d long. 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
Aidos Drakon
Get the d baxe so you can use its special, then switch to a d long. People who ask our advice almost never take it. Yet we should never refuse to give it, upon request, for it often helps us to see our own way more clearly.--Brendan Francis
Celestrana
Actually, I found the Dragon Mace to be rather useful for its crush attack bonus, especially against the battle with Barrelchest in The Great Brain Robbery. I'm not rolling in dough nor am I obsess with getting an Abyssal Whip but I find the more commonly available Dragon weapons to be more than suitable for most quest battles and slayer tasks.
