Ok I am not the biggest fan off Magic but from what I can see from the regular spell book the spells have bad graphics and a 4 yr old could have come up with it

As you know the regular spell book has spells such as...earth bolt..earth wave..earth bolt....and earth wave........Very simple idea and names. The graphics of the Spells Suck so I think They should make NEW AGE MAGIC

 

 

 

 

 

NEW AGE MAGIC

 

 

 

Ok now there is a new idea wit new magic...You need the magic lv to cast a spell but also once you have used the spell x number off times it upgrades..Just like for god spells

 

 

 

 

 

It will contain the 4 elemtents but also Some new spells which inlclude

 

 

 

Lightning

 

 

 

 

 

So lets say you need lv 10 magic to cast the spell

 

 

 

 

 

Earth Tremor ...Have to cast it 1000 times ....its then upgrades to Landslide (lv 35)...Cast that 1000 times and upgrades to Earthquake etc etc

 

 

 

 

Air would be like

 

 

 

Swift Wind > Storm > Hurricane

 

 

 

 

 

Water would be like

 

 

 

 

 

Mini Rapids...Waterfall.....Tsuanmi

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The graphics of these spells would be much improved to the normal ones...from the names of them the animations could be awesome

 

 

 

 

 

This is only just in its very primary stages so please add to my idea :)

An idea would be to allow the casting of the lower-grade spells as well, but at a reduced cost (since you have mastered it). You could also give some player support spells, such as percentage healing spells (with a timer between uses, kind of like home tele), barrier spells (reduced damage, recoil, among other goodies :mrgreen: ), and possibly even the ability to temprarily bring out a monster to help you out! With some thought, this can be a good idea! And, technically, the current standard mage book IS "New Age" :-w

i like the idea of the spells and everything, but you need to think it through more, like put and xp chart up for how much xp a spell would give, the lvls, and the max hits. If you give me permission i can take it way futher than what it is now (i'll also give you credit for it).

The spell we have are modern magic, I doubt any wizards will masters

 

spells from the future in RS.

im all for new magic, but to continue the triangle of balance, an update would have to come out for range and melee that would be equally as awesome
