I plan to fletch some willow longs to 70, but I want to find a general store where I can sell for the most gp possible. Which general store can I sell a lot of bows at for the most gp?

Unfortunately you'll be doing a lot of world hopping if you plan on selling willow longs to stores. Understandably, you want to make money while you train your fletching but I think many fletchers would recommend that you don't do what you plan on doing.

 

 

 

To answer your question:

 

The most out of the way general store would be the one in Lletya. It doesn't get more out of the way than that! You'll have to start the quest Mourning's End Part 1 up to the point where you first speak to Eluned and get teleported into Lletya.

To make money doing that, you are better off banking all of the bow, then selling them all in mass amounts to a charter boat (I think thats what they are :ohnoes: ). You can find one near the docks at Catherby. They buy at High-Alc value instead of the Low-Alc. Hope I helped. :

They still buy at a better price then a normal General Store. You can sometimes find worlds with none, but once you get higher then 100 of an item (I think) the price evens out. So, selling to a general store with 130k bows is the same as selling to one with 100 bows.

It doesn't really matter.

 

 

 

1. Absolut_Nut, dun matter how remote the general store u find, as soon as u start selling, the prices start dropping.

 

 

 

2. Charter boat traders, although they offer a lower price. and u may see thousands of the bows u are selling already there .. buy at a FLAT rate. That means the price doesn't drop no matter how much more u sell to them.

Sell them on RSOF, there are a few buyers of willows long.

 

 

 

The prices for (u) willow longs are about 35-40gp, although I don't know the price for strung.

I will have to agree with all the people who said the Traders, they will buy for 56 each i believe, even with hundreds of thousands of bows there. They's by far the best way.

 

 

 

Also, the best method for selling your bows is to set your mouse button to one-click, then find the spot (I believe it is the farthest right in the second from bottom row) where your right-click puts you directly over the "Sell 10" option. Then simply click as fast as you can. You can unload THOUSANDS of bows in SECONDS at a very good price.

My favourite out-of-the-way general store is in the dwarven market underneath the castle on Miscellania. Never see anyone in there.
