June 24, 200719 yr What a fight!!, stunning knockout by ricky hatton in the fourth round, he couldn't of hit him any harder! peach of a shot. In a fight being billed up as his hardest yet! Whose next for hatton? dare i say 'Pretty Boy' Floyd Mayweather, considering pbf has twice struggled to out point castillo, even more so considering all the trash he's been talking about hatton. Or even golden boy oscar de la hoya. Though the likelyhood is that it will shane mosley Ricky hatton is now arguablly one the greatest of all time. One word to describe this performance? Perfect!
June 24, 200719 yr There's only one Ricky Hatton!!! He's brilliant, keeps his feet on the ground aswell. Lives in Hyde 1 minute walk from his parents' house. Bit more on this video.
June 24, 200719 yr I wish I was able to have watched this fight, I was looking forward to it since it was announced. Anyway, everything I've read about the fight so far suggests that Hatton put in one hell of a performance. Castillo is a great fighter in his own right, a real hardman, so to beat him so comprehensively is an achievement in itself (anybody who saw his fights against Corrales can vouch for that). On top of that, Hatton dropped Castillo for the first time in Castillo's long career so he must have really been on top form for this one. This is perfect for Hatton now, a win like this one after two disapointing fights is the perfect mental lift for him and a springboard going into his next fight - which will no doubt be a big money super-fight against a top American fighter. I'd like to see him fight a fighter who'll stand toe to toe with him and fight instead of box. If he does fight Mayweather, Floyd will just step back and use his usual boring style (can't blame him it does win for him). Personally I'd rather rather see him against Mosely or De La Hoya both of whom I reckon he can beat. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)

Yeh i agree about mayweather, hate his style but i believe if him and hatton get it on, i reckon hatton could rough him up, few low blows ect, lot of holding, we all know hes got the power to knock him out. and as i said, with all the trash talking has said about hatton, about him being a fat **** ect, i would love to him swallow his words, arragont ... :P btw, rooneys on the left:P carried one of his belts into the ring

You know, if you're gonna quote the BBC nearly word for word, use the BBC's images, and basically use their analysis, the least you could do is cite the BBC and not try to pass it off as your own. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
June 24, 200719 yr Judas to Rickie's right looks like his having fun =] Looking at Ricky you wouldn't think that he was intelligent but from his interviews he seems to know hell of a lot. A friend to all is a friend to none.
