I decided to get Membership partly because I am tired of all the bots in F2P, and partly because all my friends have it.

 

 

 

I am thinking of sending in my money since I don't have a credit card. My question is if they will send me anything that I have to keep to use members. I am wondering this becaues I usually look through my mail really quickly then discard usually everything. If they are going to send me something, I need to know so I actually pay attention to my mail.

I'm pretty sure it's true. It takes a week or 2 if you choose pay by cash.

Check on the Official Site to see what payment options are available to you. You can pay through one of the "Pay by Cash" affiliated services. Even without a credit card (like myself), you can set up the "Pay by Cash" service and send the money in directly through your bank if you have online banking.

 

 

 

If you have any queries about signing up for membership, especially on payment options, you should contact Jagex's Customer service. They'll most likely tell you to consult the Knowledge Base concerning membership questions.

Ya... the knowledge base is basically a excuse for Jagex to redirect many of people's replies to a useless area. :wall:

It all depends on where you live to see how long it takes. I used to pay that way until I got my credit card. The only thing they do is send you a message on the runescape main page. Nothing in the mail.

Yeah, It'll take a while but the only thing you recieve is an email from Jagex on the RS homepage. Good luck in members! \

ya i pay by check, i live in canada and takes 5-10 days for me but you do not receive nothing, you just look anxiously at your log in screen one day to see you have ___ days of members remaining :XD:

i prefere mobiles it takes max 10 mins and theysend you surfpin that you ahve to type in

Okay, another question. The Pay By Cash website says not to send coins because they might get lost in the mail. Can I just send $8 instead of $7.95? It's not like I want the change, but I want to make sure that they won't send me back the money saying that they don't accept it because it's not the exact amount of money...

I wouldn't think they'd have a problem with it. They profit an extra 5 cents and I doubt they'd complain.

 

 

 

However, as a personal preference, I would highly recommend that you attempt to get a Pay-by-Card option at your first opportunity. It is much more reliable and less vulnerable for someone at the mailing plants to look in your envelope, see the money, and pocket it rather than it going where you want. Credit Cards are also cheaper to pay for memberships with Jagex.
