I've been trying for like 700 tokens too get another rune defender but not much is happenin and im wearing ROW, ive also shown the woman my rune def so that cant be an excuse for no drops!!! June 25, 200719 yr I dont bother with it there. I used to, but i got annoyed with it after not getting one for like an hour and i got 2 rune defenders in the last 3 or 4 minutes. Since then i just use berserker ring there.
June 25, 200719 yr Ring of wealth only increases the drop rate of something with some value. Since defenders are untradable they do not have a value, so it will make no difference whether you wear it or not. ~Little~ 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
June 25, 200719 yr To be honest, since the Ring of Wealth gives us a hidden bonus, it's difficult to say whether or not it increases the chance of a Cyclops dropping a Rune Defender. Killing Cyclopes is a decent training method and there's nothing wrong with using a ROW even if it gives the illusion of Cyclopes dropping Rune Defenders more often. I fight Cyclopes for their Rune Defender drops and Black Knives.
