the dead-man's chest thing, it should provide 1 of those randomly, not every time you open it you get it all

A little bit too much rewards/ requirements. Jagex would never make a quest that you need 100+ combat for, and they would never put that much for a reward...ever.

Edit: On the reward, That a total of:

 

100K exp to any combat skill (enough to get one that isn't used much like range or mage if a pure melee'er to level 49. Bit much amiright?

 

 

 

20 d-stone or onyx. At current market values thats

 

1 Million of dragonstone or

 

74 Million of onyx.

 

With half/half it's

 

37.5 Million at lowest market value.

 

 

 

20 high level herbs? How high is high level?

 

No herb I know of tops 10K each. So that's under 100K for this part of the reward, but still it's a little excessive.

 

 

 

Manta rays are ~1.5K+ each. So at 200 Manta Rays you're looking at 300K.

 

 

 

+100K gold for finishing it.

 

 

 

That's a total of 1.4 Million LOWEST for completing this quest + a ton of combat exp. And that's with no onyx.

 

 

 

How difficult could Davy Jones be anyways? Desert Treasure currently has the hardest guy, and even with 4 of them plenty of people are finishing that. For rewards like this, you'd need him to be harder than kalphite queen and tz-tok-jad. And even still that'd be insane.

If Jagex were to do ANYTHING like this involving stuff that resembles the Pirates storyline, then they're in for some serious Hell. This sort of thing is gonna be what drives certain elements of players and TB@JT to drink. :roll:

I like the idea, but Davy Jones' lower hit is 115 and he attacks with Range Mage Melee and a new combat class called s0per ali3nnz att4iz.

 

 

 

Nothing againts the movie or pirates, Cabin Fever was one of my favorite quests. But you're triying to copy a movie and get free 75m.
