HELP MINING

EH guys, I have a question on getting my char's mining lvl to 85. Currently at 81. Question is what should I mine to get there the fastest and what method should i use. Thanks.

If so, you could bank at Yanille. Spot there is very close to a bank.

 

 

 

I heard granite is the fastest for members, tho

Granite can be found at the granite quarry deep in the desert, it has absolutely no use. :)

 

 

 

You will need : your pick, Full desert clothing, about 24 full waterskins, the camulet* and a bucket*

 

 

 

Just use the 3 free spaces you have to mine and drop the granite, it's the fastest way, when out of water (24 will last several hours) either go down the tunnels to refill at the well* or teleport out to refill.

 

 

 

*I recommend you do the quest you can find at the quarry, will give you a tele to there(camulet) and a well to refill your waterskins using the bucket

I would powermine iron. (Mining iron , then dropping it , etc ...).

ting i was f2p when i went from 81 to 85. i powermined iron in the field south-east of varrock. there are 3 rocks u can get, 4 if you are fast enough, and sicne you have a high mining level you will beat everyone there. since there are a lot of low levels there i just typed in "free iron" and got plenty of people to take the iron from me, which was faster than dropping. good luck!

or you can do my personal favorite ... got to scorpian mine on a FREE world mine a full inv and trade to some lvl 3 noob ... fast and easy

Granite is only used in the member quest Enkhara's Lament (I may have the name wrong...).
