Why is general p2p and f2p merged! It's a bad idea, p2p stuff deserves it's own forum, it's much easier to tell the two apart. I would like general p2p and general f2p their own sub forums again please.

- General boards - The biggest change. General F2P has merged with General P2P. Please be open-minded about this change. The board will move noticeably faster but that is a good thing. With higher activity comes higher post quality through "topic natural selection." Not only that, but users will have more to read when visiting the General board. All of the same stickies still exist as well.

No it's not really. It's about runescape. And it's "clattered up". How? There are usually only about 10 topics a day that are probably active on P2P and about 5 in F2P boards. I don't see why they shouldn't be one group, nothing too big.

The administrators of Tip.It took this decision with great care and consideration as to the best solution. As it was before, the boards were too ambiguous, and topics which could fit into both boards were being split across the two, resulting in SPAM. One thing I have noticed is the amount of topics per page as been increased to cater for the increased deamdn on the new General Board, so the problem of P2P and F2P topics competing against each other should be ironed out with that.

 

 

 

As said before, the adminstrators took this decision after great consideration, and they've explained their reasons on the main page of the Tip.It website, and Global Announcements on the forums. While I'm sire your point of view is appreciated by the admins, I don't think they'll reverse their decision.

Ginger explained the situation very well! There are two topics that you can read to find out why the change was arranged. The first is a locked topic by an admin himself. Then, there is another topic which created the idea. This was created by myself, and the idea arose after a lot of discussion from users, mods, and admins. After all that discussion, the admins decided it was for the forums benefits to merge the two forums and also change many other things on the forum such as the Help and Advice forum. I strongly suggest you read through those two threads. There, you will recieve a variety of opinions and answers to your complaint! Thanks! :)
