Zaephyr
I don't mind being followed, as long as the person isn't begging me of horassing me (I'm a female, and am often subject to the attention of 10-year-old boys. I'm considering making a male account, it's gotten so bad). Otherwise... it doesn't bother me if they're being curious about items or levels. I'll tell the f2p players that I got my dragon ammy on members, for instance, and it's not hurting me if someone wants a taxi. I've even made a few friends that way. One guy actually said: "I'ma follow you now, 'cause I'm bored." It was an... interesting... conversation.
SM_Luna
I agree with this idea! It gets annoying with too many people following you!
Pyromania
Add them to your ignore list, enter a guild they have no access to, jesus christ.. Use your head! You obviously have a short temper if you can't handle some idiot following you around. Assuming you aren't already in a terrible mood or they follow for hours... Then you need to take action. (Oh, and zaephyr, try using that little button called report abuse. I mean, that's just plain... disgusting. Especially with the ten year old part. >_<)
buggienuk
good idea!! hope jagex listens to you then ill make some noobs follow me in wildy, turn follow button off (somewhere near greaters) and leave them there  mwuahahahahah
Leo_C
(I'm considering making a male account, it's gotten so bad). Well, if u want to go that far, why not just go to the make-over mage (if i'm not mistaken) Btw, i don't play with Hyperon1532 that much anymore, so if anyone's trying to contact me, try either Leo C 12921 or Leoc12921... Domovoi
Oh that would be so good having a turn off following button. I'm sick of newbies asking questions(why can't they just ask the lumbridge guide??) or asking for free stuff(I HATE THAT). IceArrow4
I would rather you can't see the characters of people you ignore. Then just ignore them and you can't see them nor hear them... perfect! 8)

Sir_Robere
Well, im sure about every person over 80 combat as been followed by people that are lvl 50 and below and won't leave you alone, especially f2p people. Wouldn't it be great if you could have a turn off follow button? or option? Like, i get 50 people a day following me when im just trying to raise my skills, and they don't get the point when you don't talk to them. Here are some examples I have had of people following me and saying stuff: "Will you marry me" "Whered you get your armour" "Howd you get such a high lvl" "Can i have some free stuff please" "Money for the poor" "Wanna be my friend?" "Your hot" YES! Finally, a person with a good suggestion! If you're a member, post it on Runescape's forums, and keep it bumped...maybe it'll get noticed by jagex there. There's more of a chance, anyway... :D Like cmon they even follow me into the wild cause im pking, thats why hal way through the day i usually turn off public chat and just sit in train or raise skills in piece. BUt i still get people following me, this one guy followed me aroudn for an hour trading me and when i eventually traded him he tried to give me bronze! Outsanity
try ignoring them? Im guessing your p2p and dont know what its like, oh ya i ignore them, like I said half way through the day ill turn off public chat, but they still follow me for over an hour Your exagerating (i doubt they follow you for hours on end, most get fed up after 5 minutes), but try to make the best of it. I ask them to dance and shout praise to me, and I give them a little money if we arrive at my destination and they are still there. No...he/she's not exhaggerating. I had some sick freak follow me for around 1 hour and 15 minutes until I eventually led him into the Draynor Manor Woods and let the roots take care of him (he was only a level 3...obviously just trying to cause trouble)...hehe...he didn't see them coming. *signs name* Outsanity...I'm in 100% ;) |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|
knives669
I completely agree. Everytime someone follows me, asking for p|-|r33 5t0ff, I lose a little more faith in mankind... While following is a vital part of PKing, as far as I know, you'd only need to follow the people you are PKing with, meaning you make sure your friends all have the follow option ON. I believe this would be a huge improvement for Runescape... I'm sick of people I don't know following me. Unless they want to follow me into the wilderness.
Jguyjava
I have the same problem...however, I'm only Level 21, and it comes from players of higer levels than me. Why? I have a Blurite sword. I'm constantly getting asked "wher did u get tht sord?" "can i hve it?"

Crim_nimora
Tell them you have to get one deep deep in the wilderness. That sort of ignorance is just plain unacceptable....
Outsanity
Tell them you have to get one deep deep in the wilderness. That sort of ignorance is just plain unacceptable.... Level doesn't measure maturity and intelligence. I'm tired of people assuming this. I have seen "Noobs" from level 3 all the way up to level 115. Also, many MANY players did not know how to drop method the blurite sword when they did that quest...therefor, they did not get one, and didn't know you could. And ignorance isn't some that is "unacceptable"...purposely BEING ignorant is. If those people kept asking him/her about the sword even when they already knew what it was and how to get it...then yes...THAT would be unacceptable. That's like saying this: "Crim_Nimora...please correctly repeat word for word every definition in the latest edition of the Webster's Dictionary...oh...what's this? You can't? Well that ignorance is completely unacceptable." You can't know what you haven't been told...but once you are told, you should retain the information. |2,300+ Total|138 Combat|12 Lvl 99 Skills|99 Slayer|

Lord_Muijs
i just love it when a level 3 follows me! seriously! wanna know why? because every time they do i feel a strange force controlling my hand, leading my character to the stone circle south of varrock. and BAM! lvl 20 dark wizard gets earth strike happy and noob dies in 3 secs. i once walked in lumbrige with my full addy (g) still on. suddenly i was a noob train, i lead them to the stone circle, *gets tears of laughter* noobs running in every direction, dieing and screaming                  i am EVIL!! Blaze The Movie Fan
You can trick them by going on stair. For example, you are in Lumbridge and go up and down stair. Just go up and then down. They would think you will go down on the other site.
