July 8, 200719 yr Bowstrings are definitely the most cost-efficient way, as you can actually make 90-100 gp per bowstring. D'hides are, as you say, expensive. Bowstrings aren't the fastest way, but there are definitely slower, and they're the only ones that balance efficiency with money. Being immature is a part of being mature.
