Door Spammers?

Featured Replies

Are door spammers breaking the rules? (Door spamming is when you close a door so people can't go through. They do it repeatidlly so it takes longer for you to get to in, or out of the building.)

Not all F2Pers are beggars or scammers, some are respected members, but these respected people are over-populated by these beggar and scammers.

no, but it causes people to break rules via cursing at them and stuff like that, there just an annoying percent of the population.

No, I don't believe they are. JAGeX did however say that they would fix the doors so this can't happen.

I know when my brother started playin somebody took him to the place where the Wine of Zamorack is and he went up there and took the wine and the monks started attacking him so he tried to run away and there was a guy keeping the door shut so that my brother would die. But luckily i smelt a scam and told my brother just to bring a full inventory of cooked chicken and meat.

It's not really a bug it's just a simple thing that can be abused.

I fell for it back in the day

I felt so upset that I now try to help newbs out whenever I can and prevent them from being taken advantage of by more experienced players.

Pretty much what Dragon said.

Thread terminated.

I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator?

No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.

Door spamming is pretty iffy just about anywhere... I remember going into the Varrock archery store's second room and getting stuck in there for a minute due to two idiots playing The Door Game.

I've also seen (and used) the tactic of shutting a door to keep someone from running from a quest monster or random, causing them to die... pretty mean-spirited all around.
