July 12, 200719 yr Recently I either changed my password or someone else has for me. I created a new account and never see my old account online, so I am pretty sure I must have done it myself. Anyway I can not recover it. Jagex is beinf so tough and will not create a new password for me. I gave them everything too. I gave them my first payments ever done, first passwords ever done, etc. This is crazy ! A spent over 3 years building this account up and now it is gone. Any advice? Does anyone have a phone number for them?

July 12, 200719 yr Author I always paid with the paybycash method. Gave them all that info as far back as 2005. They still won't do it. I believe they onlt recover accounts with a credit card. Otherwise I get the standard reply each time.
July 13, 200719 yr Give them your membership account numbers, first password and your IP address, that's what worked to me after I got a keylogger and had to get my account back.
July 13, 200719 yr This is strange, I filed many password recovery reports giving them only 1 random payment wich was paid for trough PayByCash, some of wich i took the info of my bank bills and some just the info i got trough my email. Jagex always resetted my password within the hour. Just try to remember the recovery questions , incase you dont have them List down your oldest password. I also found that jagex will work faster an more accurate if you file in a "Some'one hacked my account" report instead of the "Ive lost my password" report. Just some suggestions
August 3, 200718 yr Author Just to let everyone know I got my account back, but it was stripped clean. Lost about 30 mil. However very glad to get it back.
