July 13, 200718 yr Depends on what u mean by "normal combat". If u mean vs monsters, yes, defense is ALWAYS handy when dealing with monsters capable of killing u. Its also useful in wildy pking, since f2p weapons don't give much attack bonuses, and a little rune armor can go a long way. But if ur making a pure, the attk and strength would be more useful. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.

July 13, 200718 yr of course defence is important. it can keep you alive in alot of circumstances unless u wanna be a pure and die all the time. i think defence is just as important as attack, str, and def. there really isnt a more important one. they all play into how you perform in combat. Not all F2Pers are beggars or scammers, some are respected members, but these respected people are over-populated by these beggar and scammers.
July 13, 200718 yr If your fighting monsters its really good cause it wont hit you so offen and you dont need to waste so much food, in F2P rune pures def r as good as attack and str cuz then they wont hit you so good In P2P def is also good but should NOT be used on pures or hybrids.
