Ichimaru
It used to work, but then I had a huge infection of adware. Now, I've removed the worse of them thanks to an adware manual removal forum. But, limewire still doesn't work. I tried using many versions. For a time, the beta version worked, but it mysteriously stopped working, and the recent basic version does not work either. Any ideas? Mercifull
Usually when you remove the adware that comes packaged with p2p programs it breaks the functionality of the software. Sorry. Collective
Usually when you remove the adware that comes packaged with p2p programs it breaks the functionality of the software. Sorry. Limewire doesn't come packaged with adware. Ads in the program != adware. He also implied that it stopped working before he removed any adware. bartoron
My guess would be that your firewall program is blocking Limewire from accessing the internet. Can you open Limewire at all or not?
ltb2006
How does your pc connect? Does it use a router?Because most likely there is a firewall built into that.
