Foetid_Aeon
Also, the tip of the iceberg that is above 70 stat requisite weapons. Specifically, 85, and 90 with 70/85 slayer requisites respectively, as well. I am also currently working on another idea for some multiple 95, and 99 stat sets of weapons/armor that'll be somewhat stronger than these mainly slayer-oriented items. Those'll probably again garner more flames than these ideas, but I love my intangible intellectual progeny nonetheless. To begin Dons flameproof clothing. : Slight note regarding Thrall of Bones: casted with Slayer Staff (E) (essentially, an improved version of slayer dart, though acting like a reverse of Crumble Undead in all actual applications of usage) The statistics of the items: "Dark-Banes Requiem" Type: Maul Requires 80 Attack, 80 Strength, 80 Defense, 70 Slayer Stab: + 0 Slash: + 0 Crush: + 121 Magic: + 0 Range: + 0 Strength: + 121 Prayer: + 0 "Dwarven Ballista" Type: Two Handed Range Weapon, Speed: ala Dark Bow Requires 80 Strength, 80 Defense, 80 Range, 70 Slayer Stab: + 0 Slash: + 0 Crush: + 0 Magic: + 0 Range: + 145 Prayer: + 0 Ammunition: Use Javellins on Ballista before wearing, and they will be placed in quiver slot. "Battlestaff of Xerva" Type: Magical Staff (speed = ancients staff) Requires 80 Attack, 80 Defense, 80 Magic, 70 Slayer Stab: + 0 + 45 Slash: + 0 + 45 Crush: + 75 + 45 Magic: + 115 + 60 Range: + 0 + 0 Strength: + 80 Prayer: + 0 Ammunition: Pure Essence, Chiseled into Runic Orbs (stackable) (Unlike other staffs, this one does effect casting any spells, nor allow them to be casted. It simply fires a projectile that does completely magical damage.) "Spirit Crusher" Type: Flail Requires 90 Attack, 90 Strength, 90 Defense, 85 Slayer. Stab: + 149 Slash: - 18 Crush: + 225 Magic: + 0 Range: + 0 Strength: + 207 Prayer: + 0 "Malevolent Sling of the Elves" Type: One Handed Ranged Weapon, Speed Comparable to Javelins Requires 90 Attack, 90 Defense, 90 Ranged, 85 Slayer. Stab: + 0 Slash: + 0 Crush: + 0 Magic: + 0 Range: + 175 Strength: + 0 Prayer: + 0 Ammunition: Metal Shots (use hammer and chisel on bar, 9 shots per bar.) "Thrall of Bones" Type: Spell Requires 90 Attack, 90 Defense, 90 Magic, 85 Slayer, (which is what requires the attack/defense) Slayer Staff (E). Requires 4 Death, 4 Blood, 2 Soul. Max Damage: 36, usable only on Slayer Monsters (except Killerwats, Skeletal Wyvern, Abyssal Demon), and non-undeads, non-elementals, non-animated, non-demons. (Basically, all NATURALLY living stuff.) Slayer Staff (E) is acquired by the same method the Salve Amulet (E) is obtained. You must have 90 magic and 85 Slayer however, to understand the complex dialogue of arcane destruction within the final pages. Stats of Slayer Staff (E): Stab: + 45 + 15 Slash: - 9 + 21 Crush: + 90 + 15 Magic: + 100 + 36 Range: + 0 + 0 Strength: + 90 Prayer: + 0 Now, the monsters that drop these items (for those that are dropped.) Foetid_Aeon
I'd of posted on RSOF, but I hate dealing with teh 2000 character post limit and making reserves, et al. Black as midnight, Black as pitch, Blacker than the foulest Witch.
Foetid_Aeon
And please don't be like the majority of #runescape and look at the drops without looking at the monster or the area it's in before sayign OMFG DUDE THAT'S UNREALISTIC. Look at a brutal green dragon, and it's drops, then compare it to any of the things I suggested that they're mocking (specifically, the ancient Hunter and the Tyrant.) Are brutal green dragons in multi-combat with 50 someodd other creatures that can all triple hit you at the speed of a scimitar? I don't think so. Are brutal green dragons level 1200 with 2.1k hp that can insta-kill you if you're using wrong protection? I don't think so. So stop [bleep]ing at the drops without looking at the monsters or the areas they're in. And some of these are more in mind with clans to kill. I don't see clans drooling over the thought of teaming the kq, it's all 2-4 man action. Would a clan think about teaming the Tyrant? Probably so. But no 2-4 man group is going to kill him, not without a dozen or so rounds of restocking (for one kill). And unlike the mithril dragon, you don't have to hope on getting a 1-1000 drop to even come out making a profit, you just need to kill it maybe five times, to make a slight profit after probably several dozen inventories full of sara brews and sharks. Theoknight2
some of the stats are like  you should rpobably make em smaller. This would probably mostly be team-based killing, correct? These things seem waaaaay too powerful. Maybe tone em down a bit or else people will one-hit KO in wilderness ( from full hp). Otherwise, well thought out and a good idea. Doughnut
Interesting idea, but they do need to be toned down. 599 hp? Tok-Jad only has 250. And +200 strength? thats like dharocks at 1hp. ikraz66
I know it looks a little outrageous, but I would give my barrows collection for the chance to fight any one of those monsters . You have my support. We really need to make the high level monsters worth fighting. Proud owner of a Quest cape!
Foetid_Aeon
Maybe the Spirit Crusher could have a -100 magic defense, blame it on the extreme spiritually depressive aura of the weapon... wouldnt exactly take something as valuable as a p hat into wild if it made you susceptable to ice spells? <.< And regarding the stats of the Tyrant and the Elven Warlord... those two are really meant to be like super KQs. Not exactly something a sole person would solo, but give those big groups of friends that play together or clans something to think about... they are always complaining about how Jagex designs stuff more for individual people than the groups that do play, and since the games I played before Runescape had stuff specifically made for groups to do, I figure they might like a bone being tossed to them. (But Runescape is my first and only MMORPG.) Black as midnight, Black as pitch, Blacker than the foulest Witch.
Jeda45
50 players attacking the Tyrant woud have the same effect as sending 1k bots at a jmod! No support. 2100 HP? just a moment... that would take 30 maxed dark bow specs, i estimate! If you jump into a river in Paris, you're insane. If you jump into a river in Egypt, you're in denial.
