twr_phr33k
There's a simple way to survive Abyss runecrafting.... Start by walking after leaping across the ditch. Make sure auto-retaliate is off and attack a Skeleton. Walk half way up to the Mage with the Skeleton still attacking, turn run on and right-click Teleport. Pkers usually can't touch you since you are under attack most the time. Extra tips: If you feel that you are still not safe from Pkers, don't replace your Glory Amulet with a Ring of Duelling so the loss won't be as high. After crafting the runes, Duel to Castlewars and take out a glory, then teleport to Edgeville and repeat. Craft at night, preferably the Americas timezone. wioneo
There are very few teleblocking Abyss pkers. I've been frozen with the lower level freezing spell(never been in an ice cube), dds'ed, etc... but I've never been teleblocked, and I've never been killed. I don't even know what a teleblock looks like... If you get teleblocked, keep running to the zammy mage. Or does it stop him from telepporting you, too? twr_phr33k
Not everybody has completed FT2. It's only about 20secs longer from my experiences using this method.

I find the abyss to be much faster (and it's nice because you can easily fix your pouches instead of constantly switching back and forth between Abyss and Fairy Rings, which I find to be a hassle). May I ask what your combat level is? Most of the RC PKers (at least the ones that I've seen) are between level 90 and 103. If you're in that combat range, I would highly suggest getting out of it, as RCing will always be difficult for you. I'm level 106 and I get by just fine, because there aren't too many PKers around that range. Personally, I just jump over the ditch and go for it - full on run. However, I do bring a good means of protecting myself - a sara brew (4). It is extremely helpful and lasts long enough until the entangle/snare/whatever spell wears off. The best part is that it will heal you past your maximum hitpoints (so you can have 95/82 hit points, for example). Once you're teleblocked and entangled, drink your first dose of sara brew immediately. Normally, that's when they rush over to DDS you, so you'll be prepared. Keep drinking the brew when you get low on hitpoints. Whenever you have enough hitpoints to stop drinking, try teleporting with the Zammy Mage. Normally, I find that the entangle spell wears off just as I finish drinking the last dose. It's saved my life countless times and I have never died while having one in my inventory. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
twr_phr33k
Oh... and World 140 is great for runecrafting at night because there are rarly anybody on that server (~100-200 server population, 10 people around Edgeville area). The only disadvantage of that world is the German language. If you understand it, good for you! But I didn't find it hard to cope with the different language. The options may be in a different language, but as long as you know which button is which, you'll be fine.
Smapla
If they teleblock you first, use the teleport option on the mage. If they bind you first, teleport using your one-click teleport.
