The LoZ series. I'm not a big fan of skill/stat raising RPGs but I did like Fable. I just wish the world was a bit bigger and the main story was a little longer.

Final Fantasy 7, 8, 12, 3/6 are the good ones IMO

Disgaea 1 and 2 - DO NOT MISS THESE GAMES, best tactical rpgs of all time
