adam_ross0
Guild wars. It has all except for Voice Chat..it's also free, you only have to buy it at the store or online. Once you get tired of the original (Yeah right), there are 2 more expansions waiting for you..plus a third coming out soon. It has an even balance of PvP and PvE combat..and It's fairly easy to get into. There's no demo though..but you won't be disappointed with it. I would suggest WoW just because it really is the only good MMO out right now. You could also wait a few months and pick up Age of Conan. Everquest II would be a good try but I wouldn't recommend it to a newer MMO player.

Nadril
Guild wars isn't an MMO. :-s Explain? The entire game is instanced. Even arena net has stated numerous times that it is a CORPG, not an MMORPG.
adam_ross0
Guild wars isn't an MMO. The heck. MMORPG = Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game It's Massive...Multiplayer..Online...it's Roleplaying..and it's a game >.> It has multiple users online at once, able to interact online..The only difference is that players get a private copy of an explorable map unless they invite a party to come in with them. As for CORPG.. Rather than labeling Guild Wars an MMORPG, We prefer to call it a CORPG That's a preference. Either way you look at it, it's still an MMORPG. The only difference, as they also said, is that you or your party get a private copy of non-outpost or non-town maps.
Nadril
By your logic than diablo is also an MMORPG? I mean, there are thousands of players online at the same time, but they each get their own private copy of a map. edit: lets not muck up this thread, guild wars is/is not an MMORPG has been argued to many times in other places. adam_ross0
No, Diablo is a singe-player RPG. Over Battle.net, it depends how you define MMORPG. I say no..an MMORPG requires online play, hence the Online in MMORPG. Diablo has a single player not-online option, so no, it isn't. edit: Whoops, posted before the edit. You make a good point. I guess it depends how you look at it. Let's stop on this thread.
Revenga
If your into free MMOs try Conquer2.0. It can be really addicting to some but I didn't like it much tbh. |Msg me me in-game | IrreIephant| ^ capital i
