...that is the question!

Will It Blend? is a viral marketing campaign consisting of a series of 30 second to two minute infomercials demonstrating the Blendtec line of blenders, especially the Total Blender. In the show Thomas "Tom" [bleep]son, the Blendtec founder, attempts to blend various items in order to show off the power of his blender. Tom started this marketing campaign after doing a blending attempt with a box of matches.

This is where I would put a "Is it 1999?" post, but since this is more of a 2006 thing it doesn't work quite as well.

Still, the point is this was big a while ago, and once again someone on Tip.it is the last person to hear about it, and wants to share their "new find" with the rest of us.

Especially the iPhone one. That must have been ages ago.

Way to completely miss the point. Yes, the iPhone one was just added recently. It was more or less a reminder that the site still existed.

Oookay, I still don't get the big fuss you are doing over this topic.

If you already know about this, great you are well informed, just skip the topic. As long as some people find out about this I'm happy.

Everyone needs to be quiet about the whole "TH!$ !$ 01D!!!11!". Who cares? He didn't break any rules, as far as I can tell, there's no other thread about Will it Blend here, so why not discuss it? The point of the thread is to talk about the stuff itself, not how long it's been around. It's not like since it's old, it's bad.

Anyway, I love Will it Blend. It's hilarious, my favorite is the glow stick one. :P

And as usual, the only thing people arguably care less about than "new find's", is exactly how long ago someone else saw it.

Why the heck would you build a blender with that kind of strenght anyway? I mean, "common household appliances" seems sort of... Inaccurate?
